Good ointment works on tough skin

I have used Cetavlex now for about 50 years........it is something I can't be without wherever I am. It has so many uses.....rubbed into your hands it sterilizes them when soap & water are not available. Cuts & grazes can be covered in it, then when covered with a dressing any dirt or infection will be drawn out on the dressing when it is changed. It is so kind and gentle so to put on children's wounds it's ideal, no suffering of dressings sticking to cuts & grazes, everything heals much quicker and pain free! Smeared on to baby's cradle cap it washes off after after a couple of hours leaving the scalp completely clear! Originally when this was made by ICI the leaflet enclosed used to state all the situations it could be used for but now it is made by Derma their leaflet is very short & doesn't mention any of the above! I find it hard to purchase from local chemists as newer products have taken over! For me it is a must have ........having experienced how it has helped my family over the last 50 years.

Use this cream for minor cuts and grazers.

Have used cetavlex my entire life having been brought up in Africa and Asia my parents wouldn’t use anything else. As long as this product is available I will be using it.

As described, does the job well

Basically bought this product on the strength of the reviews, but on opening the product found the tube didn't havea seal on it so it could have been used before, also found it to be very runny, watery, plus I notice one of theingredients was Cetrimide which is also an ingredient in Savlon which works out a lot cheaper to buy than this product.
