Takes time and a some persistence
I had all the issues The other reviewers had. But I believed this would restore my badley worn kitchen tops. I think I'm nearly there. This takes patience, following the instructions to the letter.Putting a thin layer on. Nice and even. Letting it dry, for at least 15 minutes. Then rub. If it's not even, don't worry, come back to it for another layer.I found our that putting more than one layer on, after leaving for 24 hours really works. The work tops in the photo were extremely worn and blemished. This is after 4 layers. What a difference.Like everything, sometimes there's no easy fix. Just trial and error.

Polishes but not repairs
I have a marble dining table and like many fallen prey to the myriad scratches and marks these surfaces get after some time. I've been hoping to find some sort of polish that not only would polish but also fill in all the micro scratches. I went for this, the ttrust HG brand and had high hopes I could get my table restored. Be warned, however, after using this is still just a polisher and not a repairer. This marble polish comes in a strange liquid consistency. Rather than a wax type product, this polisher looks like milk and pours very runny. I used a microbre cloth to get a dose and went to work on my table. As you rub, the liquid dries, builds friction and forms a layer like as promised. The instructions emphasise to continue rubbing until all smear marks are gone within 20 minutes. As I found, the liquid once dry bonds with the surfaces and becomes difficult to rub any further.Long story short, this polisher sure brought out a whiter pristine colour but didn't manage to repair the many micro scratches on the my marble table. The scratches are definitely still there although it does seem the brighter polished look makes the scratches a little less noticeble.

Did nothing
I followed instructions to a t and it did nothing.I wanted to polish an old marble top, that I had cleaned and sanded. I've applied the product twice and although there was some dirt removed, the marble did not get the expected lustre.

It does work
As you can see from the photos it certainly works.I had a heavily damaged marble surround that I wanted to restore. I had to sand it to 7000 grit, I did a test patch after 3000 grit and couldn't get a mirror finish.I found the easiest way to get a good finish was 3 or 4 very thin coats. I put a thin coat on a small area (10cm x 10cm) waited until it was just dry (about 1 min) then buffed it. First few times I got lots of streaks, I tried buffing them out but that took loads of work and time. Just putting another thin layer of the polish over the top and rebuffing did the trick after 3-4 times with very little effort.

A poor product
Whilst this brought out a shine on my marble countertop after the HG impregnator I first used, this product gets only 1 star. Despite following the instructions, and then every interpretation of them, it leaves dull streak marks everywhere that do not polish out regardless of what method or applicator/buffer you use. And I used all of them. Would I buy it again? No. It might well be a natural product but it doesn’t work.

Mixed Reaction
HG products are really good so didn't hesitate to buy but despite being very careful about following the instructions, made a small bit of difference after several attempts. Expected better but it could be the particular worktops I tried on, being second hand stone worktops had deteriorated prior & lost their seal slightly making it impossible to rejuvenate when I took ownership. You know what they say about polishing a 💩However, the other worktops are better condition and worked fine on cleaning them buffed up to good shine.
