Stainless Steel Safety Razor - High Quality Double Edge Safety Razor for Men

A good razor, shaving smooth and good, heavy, well balanced with good grip. But the material of the screw of the front is too soft in my ment and should be careful not to overtighten.

Arrived soon after ordering was not the stainless steel item shown in picture in fact it is black ! Handle is very short but it does work and is solidly built ! Would have been 4 stars but for the item not being fully as described ! Fitted with the safety blades i bought with this you get a really close shave ! Wont be buying anymore costly disposable razors anymore !

This is a great razor. I believe it is not produced by any one company but made up of various parts. I see one reviewer has a problem with one breaking. I don't believe many metal headed razors would stand being dropped onto a hard surface from a height. I own twenty or so safety razors some going back quite a few years, plus a merkur or two, a muhle and others and they cost 2/3/4 times as much. I don't think any would cope with that punishment. The current price is very good, the stainless handle alone is a bargain and very similar to Windrose handles.The shave is well above average ensuring the blade is seated well and even. I use a badger brush and Vitos red soap. The results are good with minimal nicks. I have taken the odd punt on a razor and been disappointed but not with this one. Not the razor I'd chose to have as my one and only, but if I had to it would not be a hardship.I also have the fat black one and the same comments apply. My son has the black version of this s/s one and no complaints. It is in regular rotation.

Was nice to use when it wasn't broken! Unfortunately I dropped it in the shower one time on the tiles (not unusual for a shower/bathroom?!) and it broke instantly.. I don't believe this shows it to be good quality. I am disappointed as a I originally bought this to be less wasteful and I'm now having to throw it away!

well weighted, good shaving experience, not too "close", comfortable to use

Brilliant razor at fantastic price.Stainless steel handle feels great in the hand with contours and knurled sections providing perfect grip and control and the weight of the handle is fantastic, meaning that just allowing this razor to fall naturally against your face gives perfect pressure when shaving.The chrome plated nickel head appears to be a fairly close copy of certain leading brands "89" models, and that is no bad thing either as it provides a great angle for a close comfortable shave, not too aggressive for a beginner to DE shaving. At this price it is fantastic vfm.

This is my first de razor, so can't compare it to others. This has a twist to open /close construction. All the pieces appear to be made of stainless steel. Feels like it has a decent weight. Does NOT come with a blade - I'd recommend getting a sample pack of lots of different types of blades if this is your first foray into de shaving. I always deconstruct the razor and properly dry after each shave to prolong the razors life. Incredible value for money considering how much the big brands are charging for all metal razors

I will admit that when I ordered this razor I did so for the handle. But having used it I am surprised how good it is especially at the price. To me this is a mild razor that gives good results. It seems very well built and it's a heavy razor (the heaviest one I own). So it has turned out to be a good shock, something that for me has quality that would go against what you would think when looking at cost.
