Silicone Rowing Machine Seat Cover Compatible with Concept 2 Rowing Machine, Alternative to Rowing Machine Cushion, Rowing Machine Accessories

Thought long and hard before giving a five star value for money rating then decided if I can row for longer and be free from discomfort then it's worth every penny. Still the dearest 'sporty' thing I've ever bought apart from the rowing machine - but worth it if i don't have to skip a day because I've got a sore bum. What do I like about it? Well it is a vivid lime green that I happen to like, it fits the seat beautifully, it doesn't slip and it makes a difference. There's not much more to say about the seat really especially as when I'm rowing I don't really notice that it's there. I used it for a couple of 5k rows then had a few weeks break 'coz the other half wants to redecorate. Just started again today with a gentle 20 minutes row. No discomfort at all. I plan to try a longer row in a week or so and if I remember I'll update this review. The only niggle I have is that it did not come with instructions. You don't need any instructions to fit it - that's pretty obvious, but it's going to need cleaning at some point. Can I put it in the washing machine? Are there any household cleaning fluids I should use/avoid?

Would of liked more cushion for my pushing... but this is definitely much more comfortable for rowing with and still think it's a void purchase

Having purchased the Vapor Fitness phone holder for the PM5 on the Concept2, and seen a recommendation for the seat cover on Dark Horse Rowing I bought the seat cover. For those with a more adventurous spirit, there’s also and Acid Green and Fluorescent Pink version with matching phone holders. The seat cover fits perfectly. It doesn’t get “attached” with double sided tape or fit under the edges of the C2 seat, it just fits over the top covering the exposed surfaces in their entirety. As per the title, this is NOT to be considered a padded seat cover as there is very little, if any, extra cushioning gained by using this seat cover. For padding, the Hornet Watersports Anti Slip Rowing Machine Cushion would be the way to go. I like this cover as it protects the original seat beautifully and once you’re sitting on the cover due to the texture of the finish, you will not be sliding around at all, at all. A very grippy surface. Well worth the money for a perfectly made and fitting cover. The phone holder is DEFINITELY worth a look as well

I've been rowing for 40 years and have been a concept 2 owner properly for the last 5 years. in lockdown i am hitting 100KM a month and the standard seat can be uncomfortable. this just takes the edge off the seat as in the catch, you don't slip. shane Farmer from Dark Horse Rowing uses one, so he's a good reference for this. it's not a soft cushion at all, its just a non slip silicone cover.

It helps a bit better then the existing C2 seat. I rowed 33 KM it gives ~10% better comfort.

Good fit on the Concept 2 rower seat. I thought it might be a bit thicker, so it does not feel don't. But it keeps me from getting skin burn on my backside. So overall I am quite pleased.

Ottimo prodotto, calza alla perfezione alla seduta dei rower Concept2. Forse irrigidisce un minimo la seduta ma niente di trascendentale. Lo uso quotidianamente. Impeccabile.

Muy bine hecho y de muy buen material, funciona perfecto, evita que te resbales en el asiento mientras remas. Se adapta perfecto al asiento de la Concept2
