Light and refreshing for fine hair washed everyday

I always return to Aveda hair products - they don’t strip the hair of natural oils and you only need a very small amount. Worth the money.

I was initially skeptical about buying this shampoo as it is quite pricey. However, upon purchasing it I can safely say it is worth every cent. I have very fine hair and this is the best volumising shampoo I have ever used - it makes your hair look thicker and healthier, especially when you blow dry it. I also have hair that gets greasy somewhat quickly, and this shampoo can be used every day without drying out your hair.It is also worth noting that you only need to use a very small quantity of this shampoo, so the bottle should last at least a month (but probably more like 2 months) even if you use it every day. I would recommend buying the clay conditioner as well.

My hair started to deteriorate after childbirth and became so thin you could see the scalp - rather depressing over the years.This product won't give you new hair but it will make the most of what you've got. Use only a small amount and massage well before rinsing. Hair feels thicker immediately and the appearance improves. This helps make you feel better with the way your hair looks so helps confidence.Its not cheap, but nevertheless I recommend this product.

Love the scent, love the end result but a bit pricy to purchase all the time.

This delightful concoction makes the strands on my noggin stand to attention and strut their stuff. The sheer luxuriant volume achieved by this shampoo would shame a dulux dog, even assuming he or she had just stepped fresh from a doggy shower, having been massaged down with a hair set tonic and set under a heat lamp with rollers in for a few hours.I’d bath in the stuff if I could. I’d pour it into champagne flutes and swing naked from the rafters whilst clinking glasses with every other like minded, shampoo-astute sister around.

Nice shampoo but very expensive.

Excellent volumizer. I contacted Aveda as I seemed to have become allergic to ingredients in my former volumising shampoo Couldn't stop scratching : annoying and embarrassing. Aveda Pure Substance is great. It leaves my hair shiny and looks thick, something it's not! Expensive but worth the money and a little goes a long way.
