Simple Plug & Play…Works!
Couldn’t be simpler. Plugged into USB, and plugged Ethernet cable into the unit. Work right away. Seems nice and fast.

Easy way to get rid of wireless
I am no longer using wireless with my network router. There are several companies that I researched to find out the best unit for converting CAT to USB. I have a Lenovo PC, and I found that the best reviews were for the Lenovo converter. I now have one less thing to worry about with wireless signals.

The computer didn't catch fire, this time.
I picked up a few Lenovo M710Qs for a project and needed two nics and this worked as expected. I didn't do any specific speed tests, I just needed connectivity testing. It was recognized and connected. I will be trying Linux and FreeBSD next, so these results are subject to change.

Stable connection
Works great. I have a USB C hub connected to it as well that had an ethernet port but it kept disconnecting randomly throughout the workday. So I got this to use the USB port instead of the hub for my ethernet and no disconnection issues at all.

If your laptop doesn't have a RJ45 port, this is a great product and it works well with any Lenovo laptops with a USB 3 adapter. the new Lenovo laptops have only USB C, so this model will not work.

Beware of ill-informed reviewers. Most Lenovo laptops have USB outlets. Adapter works very well (indicator lights and all). Windows will likely update drivers after first use.
