bought for my acrylic pouring paintings, (take a look at jeannie'sartadventures if you're curious, torching the painting is part of the final stages) and its perfect. It has easily controlled flame, going from full on to small, and the flame had heat and power, and it has piezo that works.First torch I bought was a butane one which was OK but not really powerful enough, and the second was exactly like this only a little cheaper but...piezo didn't work, meaning i have to get matches out each time. informed sellers via amazon but they didn't bother to respond, so ordered this one. Its perfect, sometimes it pays to spend a tiny bit more.

Have used it a couple of times and it seems fine. The instructions are not very good translations into English but so far the torch seems fine. A strong flame. It can be turned down for crème brulé if required. I used it to brulé some rice pudding. I prefer this kind of torch where common gas canisters can be used over blowtorches that need frequent filling. I bought 4 campingaz cp250 from Amazon to go with this. Attaching the cannister is super simple with a quick line up of the tab and a slight twist to lock in place.

This works along with the butane canisters you can readily by from any camping/outdoor shop for pennies. I was worried it would feel like a poor connection but it clamps onto the can really nicely. It doesn't come with any gas but I had loads of this anyway. I bought mine for general workshop use but it would be great in the kitchen too.If you require super high temperatures you might be better with a propane torch which I believe burns hotter, but this is ample for my needs and I can't find a propane system for anything close to this low price. It couldn't be easier to use, place on top of the can whilst making sure to line up the notches and then give a firm clockwise twist to lock it in place. Then simply turn the valve to start releasing the gas and hit the ignite button.I've used mine quite a lot and I'm still getting a strong flame from the first half full can I attached to it.It's quite a simple thing really but I am delighted with it.

Looks nice but actually rubbish. No instructions and won't connect to my small gas bottle even though it states "easy connection". Maybe if instructions were provided I wouldn't be leaving such feedback.

I've used this Blow Torch a few times since I got it. Works perfectly OK, until you turn it on it's side. I had it almost flat trying to get at something from the underside. The fuel started to leak from the Piezo Button area. Don't know if it's a design fault or a faulty unit. It could be the Butane Gas Cartridges were not fitting correctly? Though there was no sound of gas escaping? I will continue to use it, and monitor the problem. For the money it's pointless sending it back.

It doesn't fit into the gas bottle. I have held it with my hand. Screw doesn't fit.

For the money paid for this item delivered its spot on.I have paid much more than this price for ignitionless blow torches and the quality has been no better than this.It lights first time every time is not prone to splutter and just does the job. I have even used it to solder copper pipe joints (15mm) no trouble at all. Must also note here that is takes the non screw on gas cylinder. So the cheap as chips ones that you pick up everywhere for pennies a tin.

its a fantastic little item, im using it for resin crafts, its easy to screw on and off new cans, and works very reliably, cant ask for more for the price! would recomend
