Black & Decker CM100-XJ 3-in-1 Lawn Mower Deck Attachment

This is a great item.Easy to attach to the strimmer to turn the assembly into a lightweight battery powered lawn mower.So no lead to trip over.I think it would be fine for a small lawn due to the strimmers battery charge(I would recommend buying 2 batteries,and keeping them fully charged).I have a front lawn with a slope and it dealt with that easily.There are 2 heights which are easily altered.You will need a lawn rake as there is no collection attachment.

This has got to be the best garden tool I’ve ever bought! I always hate the first mow of the season as our flymo lawn mower just hates long grass. It always seems to take forever and it’s a dull job.With this strimmer attachment the first cut has been done and was actually very easy. With the strimmer clipped in it weighs almost nothing and pushing it around like a hoover was very quick. It took a fair amount of going backwards and forwards but as it is so light it’s very easy. Once finished and edged I then went over the lawn with the mower to cut any missed bits and pick up all the clippings. All in all a very simple job.Cleaning the wadded up grass from underneath the strimmer attachment was a 2 minute job with an old screwdriver and brush, the screwdriver was needed as the grass gets in to a lot of nooks and crannies in the deck. Overall, very happy..

First off - This is not a lawn mower! What it does though is add a value to your strimmer in that you can easily trim the rest of the garden without any effort as you push this round like a mower.2 settings make it basic but in my opinion that's enough for the amount of garden work I do.All in all - Very useful and worth it if you are looking to just keep the grass on your lawn at a decent level

This strimmer attachment is excellent. Its very well designed and quite sturdy. The most impressive part is the effortless attaching & detaching to the strimmer. There is a means of height adjustment (2 settings) and the wheels run smoothly & easily. This method of grass cutting is good for uneven lawns.

All you would expect from a Black and Decker product. I found the lawn mower deck an essential accessory, as the mower is rather heavy once the battery is inserted. You do need to clean grass out of the blade and deck frequently and it won't suit anyone who finds raking up grass afterwards impractical. Highly efficient, easy to use, the mower deck is simple to attach/detach from the mower.. I would recommend this company and product to other people.

Ingenious idea of turning a strimmer into a lightweight lawn mower. Having nearly destroyed the last lawnmower because it ran over a ball in the long grass on the back lawn, (it jammed the flymo blades causing the motor to run out of balance) I needed something lightweight and unlikely to be damaged in the same way. As I was already using a compatible. strimmer I checked out the accessories by the company and decided to take a chance on buying one. It works so well that even my teenage son will mow the lawn without too much sulking..

It may be fine if you have a small perfectly flat, well kept lawn, but if you have a slightly bumpy lawn, it's of no real use. Wouldn't recommend. Might work better if the black & decker cordless strimmer had a blade attachment option.

It's OK, but fiddly to fit, and can come apart when using. If you have a level bit of grass it will give it a basic trim, easier than trying to hold a strimmer level
