It doesn't even have a laser-pointer.Wkith the software you can highlight/magnify areas of the screen and all sorts of other fancy stuff that will increase the impact of your presentations.It charges with a custom USB-C cable (which is a bit annoying if you lose it). The remote dongle fits neatly into the base of the remote and it comes with a carrying pouch to keep it tidy. In use it feels very slick. The ergonomics have clearly been thought about. But it is very expensive for a remote. It has two ways to connect to my M2 MacBook Air: either via a remote USB A connector included with the product (for which I needed a USB C adaptor) or via bluetooth. However, when I connected via USB the Next and Back buttons didn't work, although the pointer did. When I connected via bluetooth the Next and Back buttons worked fine, but the pointer didn't. Very frustrating. After time spent chatting with Logitech support they were initially helpful but then stopped responding altogether. I then decided to return the product. I have no idea whether I received a duff model, or whether there is some systemic issue preventing proper use of this device with my laptop.
