Disappointed and Frustrated: A Failed Product and Terrible Customer Service Experience
I had high hopes for the Belkin docking station, however it failed after 3 months of use. It would not recognize multiple screens anymore. I had to make 3 separate phone calls about 45 minutes each to trouble shoot. Which all failed to fix the problem. I expected a call back in 24 after the second call as they need to escalate the replacement to a manager(the call never came). When I called them back they had to escalate again, when they finally agreed to replace(will take up to 4 weeks).

Good compatibility but slow networking
Bought two INC003 docking stations to connect my Chromebook and my Windows 11 laptop. Compatibility with both operating systems is excellent, including video which is often a problem with other docking stations. It’s hard to find one that plays well with ChromeOS so I was pleasantly surprised by this one.The only downside is the poor performance of the Ethernet port. It’s labeled as 1 Gbit/sec but only manages a third of that, 335 Mbit/sec or so. Even a $10 Ethernet dongle leaves the performance of this docking station in the dust. If you can live with the reduced speed, this is a good product.

Used to free up the ports on my Chromebook (UPDATE: 1/2 the device isn’t working now)
UPDATE Oct 18, 2023: The right half of the device is no longer working (4 USB-A ports in the back, 1 USB-A port in the front, and 1 USB-C port in the front). Was going to reach out to Belkin since this device has a 2 year warranty but decided to just unplug the device from the power source, let it sit for a minute, and then plugged it back in. Issue resolved for now. 😎 /// I bought this Works with Chromebook to use with my ASUS CX9 Chromebook that I run with 2x 27” monitors at one location and 2x 32” monitors at another location. This device is pricey, but I am counting on the automatic updates to keep it relevant for many years. The unit feels a little lightweight but it looks nice on the desk and it WORKS very well. The monitors render perfectly and instantly, and the ChromeOS allows for virtual desk switching that seems a lot faster than my previous setup (random assortment of adapters that utilized pretty much all of the ports on my Chromebook ☹️). I’ve only had the this dock for 2 days so I will update if I encounter anything worth mentioning.
