All the answers above are incorrect. It comes with Omron's 3 year warranty. I wish people would not post answers when they obviously do not know the answer

Does this monitor body hydration levels?

NO, it sadly doesn't....does fat, visceral fat, muscle ... but you can't work out hydration % as you don't know the missing weight/% contributed by body organs.

Please, can you confirm whether the scales can be used on carpet floors? Please answer the question directly. I have carpets in my house.

You can place a large book on the carpet or some other hard flat object and place it on that.

What are the differences between the BF508 and BF511?

I've noticed the bf511 is about £36 more expensive. I'm happy with ours and I can only guess it's more precise with its reading.
