how do you open the jar ???

Mine was very tight, I tappped the edge of the lid on a work top several times to get rid of any trapped air, it then opened fine, used this method for 30 years with jars too 👍

Is this powder water soluble?

Haven't tried it myself, but yes, according to the details on the label it can be mixed with water, or other bonding agent
