BMW compatible with Bimmercode.
Bought to use with a BMW F10 5-series as a companion to the Bimmercode app. It's simple and effective, supports the necessary protocols, has proven reliable after months of use and is compact enough to hide away in the car permanently.

Saved me cash going to garage to get engine light put off!
Decent bit of kit ...does what it says.....but avoid makers own app and download another such as obd car doctor as it runs no problem and is easier to follow.

I had trouble connecting, it wouldn't send signals I had to return it but the 2nd one worked better, just not what I expected

Good product. Bluetooth 4.0 is much faster than previous versions so keeps up with pulling the PIDs from the OBD system and doesn't run your battery down if you leave it in. You can press the on button on the dongle (not well documented!) to wake it back up again if it has gone to sleep overnight. Being able to successfully read the real-time engine parameters let me diagnose a problem with my car and avoid £400 in unneeded "repairs" the dealer wanted to do - recommend getting the Torque Pro app to go with this dongle. Highly recommended, very happy.

Warning Apple product users!
Item advertised as Apple compatible. Be aware! It does not appear to work on IOS! I installed their recommended app “Auto Doctor” but it simply did not see the dongle! Very disappointed. You have been warned.

Says it works with dashcommand, tried both android and iOS versions and they don’t support the device. Hopefully the apps get refunded. Works fine with Harry’s LapTimer and it’s reccomended obd car dr app which requires a $75 yearly subscription to unlock all the useful features (I have no intention of paying that much!)

Der Adapter wurde angeschafft um während der Fahrt Kühlmitteltemperatur, Lambda Wert, Abgas-/Kattemperatur und Ansauglufttemperatur im Blick zu haben. der Adapter wird bei mir in einem Audi A3 8V in Kombination mit der Car Scanner Pro App verwendet. Die Verbindung über Wifi funktioniert problemlos und schnell. Daten werden sehr flott und ohne Hänger übertragen. Da der Adapter so klein ist kann er problemlos im OBD Port bleiben und er schaltet sich auch zuverlässig aus wenn er nicht verwendet wird.

Der Adapter tut was er soll. Komuniktion von Torque Pro mit dem Fahrzeug klappt.

Presa per cancellare la spia di errore su una panda che di tanto in tanto si accende (su 3 officine fiat consultate nessuna è riuscita a trovare il problema). Ho utilizzato il software android "eodb facile" ma funzione anche con altri tipo torque e incardoc free. Carina la possibilità di visualizzare i dati in tempo reale del motore. Dopo l'utilizzo l'ho smontata per cui non so se la funzione sleep sia correttamente implementata. Per quanto riguarda l'accoppiamento su android non ho avuto problemi, alla ricerca sono visibili due connessioni, una marcata per android e l'altra per apple (non ricordo il nome esatto, ma il tutto è anche riportato su un microscopico libretto di istruzioni). L'adattatore è contenuto in una scatoletta di plasica trasparente, molto comoda per riporlo ed evitare che si danneggi l parte dei contatti.

Mon précédent scanneur OBD plantait parfois lorsqu'il restait connecté trop longtemps. Je m'en servais plus pour avoir un ordinateur de bord (consommation instantanée) que pour le coté valise. Le précédent était vraiment plus orienté valise. Il ne possédait pas de mise en veille, résultat il pompait sur la batterie la nuit si je ne le déconnectais pas, et surtout il plantait. Obligé parfois en pleine conduite de le déconnecter et le reconnecter pour le rebooter. Avec le Tonwon la mise en veille se fait automatiquement 30mins après l'arrêt de la voiture. Plusieurs mois que je lai et il n'a pas encore planté. Ma Dacia Logan est reconnue sans problème. Fonctionne avec la plupart des app OBD2. Seul inconvénient lorsque l'on s'en sert comme moi comme ordinateur de bord, il faut penser à presser le bouton "on" pour le sortir de veille chaque fois que l'on prend la voiture. Un petit plus serait une fonction capable de détecter la mise sous tension du véhicule et de mettre automatiquement en route le scanner. A noter cependant, il s'agit d'une version 1.5, donc ce n'est pas un vrai ELM327 avec les conséquences que cela implique. Mais pas dérangeant pour moi
