Great stuff!
The product worked well for me at stopping the loud squealing coming from my serpentine belt. As the weather became much colder, the squealing only got worse. I had to apply a little more than what the directions called for but it's been effective for a month so far. It's not a miracle cure for bad belts but it helped to quiet my car!

works great but need to be patient.
at first I did not think it worked well. It was quiet immediately but after a few hours the belts were loud again. But after a few days the squeaking is gone. That was months ago and belts still seem to be fine. Have used this on 2 cars now and we are getting a lot more life out of the belts.

Not perfect, but worked well enough
My car has an aftermarket supercharger that is notorious for squeaking belts. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps, and the best I can tell, the supercharger pulley itself is ever so slightly out of alignment. Unfortunately, the only way to fix that is to get the blower rebuilt and it's not causing any other problems, so I'm forced to find a different way to live with it.Enter this stuff. When I put it on the belt at first, it was perfectly quiet, which slowly built back to a sound that I could only describe as a HOWL, that lasted for maybe 10-15 minutes of idling and driving. After that, the belt has steadily declined in noise to a level that I can live with. There's a brief squeak here and there, but it's way better than it was.So like I said in the headline, it's not a perfect cure-all (seriously, troubleshoot your stuff first) but it's a good last resort for squeaking belts.

Stopped my squealing after one use.
My alternator belt has been squealing and breaking. This has happened 3 or 4 times. Each time the squealing would get progressively worse and then the belt would snap.Got my belt replaced again and of course it starts squealing again.I tried this as a last ditch effort and to my surprise the squealing has stopped.Obviously I need a better mechanic but for what it's worth this product worked for me.If this lasts then the stuff will have paid for itself.

Eh. So, so.
Didn't really do much on a new belt I had put on that had an annoying 5 second squeak every time I fired the engine up. At best, it just attenuated the squeak a tiny bit.

Really does work the best
I have used many other belt conditioners, to include CRC's, and this one is the best, bar none. It immediately quieted my belts and has offered continued quiet for the last several weeks in ultra-humid Florida summer weather.I am very pleased. If this doesn't quiet your belts, you need new belts or a new belt-tensioner. I actually DO need a new belt tensioner, but this Gunk product has staved-off that maintenance for now (belt still looks healthy). Buy with confidence.

No miracle cure
Items like this are a gimmick. There will be the few people who think this helped their problem but the truth is that a conditioner isn't curing the problem. Belt noise comes from worn belts, burnished belts, or pulley misalignment. Usually when you install a new part with a pulley if they are not aligned you will experience whining noise. It does not matter how much you spray your belt, tighten your belt, or loosen your belt, you will not relieve the noise in this case unless you do something about the alignment issues. If your belt is burnished (what occurs from slipping) you need to buy a new belt because once this has happened tightening it won't fix it. If your belt is worn you need to replace it. My recommendation to avoid problems is to buy a "gatorback" belt. They are great at fixing belt noise without having to fix alignment issues. They are cheap and won't cost much more than this can. If you don't know how to change your own belt put the money towards someone who will.

Didn't work very well on my car
I have a 525 BMW. I had replaced the old squeaky belt but after awhile event the new belt started making the new noise. I applied the belt conditioner and the squeak was gone . . . . . for about one day. Then it was back. I did it again adding even more of the product and again the same results. I next replaced the tension wheels but that didn't make a difference. Believe it or not, WD40 worked better. Still squeaks after about a week and only for a few minutes after I start the car so I don't know what will eventually stop the squeak altogether.
