Just What We Needed
These trays made a great addition to our dehydrator. Good quality finish and perfect for making fruit leathers. Bought along with the pack of six, leaving us one tray short of filling our machine.

Great silicone food dehydrator mat! It's perfect it for my Excalibur, with a non-stick surface that's super easy to clean. Ideal for fruit leather, it dries evenly and pops off effortlessly. Durable, flexible and easy to store, this mat is a must have for dehydrating fans.

Purchased 6 for my Excalibur 9 tray dehydrator, came back a few days later a bought the 3 pack, so I’d have enough to use all my trays at once. Wish they sold them in a pack of 9. I’ve used them for dehydrating pureed dog food, tomatoes and onions and herbs. Tomato did great and was super easy to clean up. I used a baking scraper every few hours and scraped off the skins and then repositioned them on the tray. I definitely recommend using a baking scraper. They fit the 14x14 Excalibur trays perfectly, as many other reviews have stated. They get a tiny bit warm at 135 and above after 12+ hours, but that’s to be expected. No issues with staining, ripping or tearing. I didn’t find these to smell weird, rinsed with hot soapy water and used immediately after arrival. Herbs were a pain to remove from the silicone tray, they sticking terribly to the trays, making removal frustrating & tedious. I use a paint brush when transferring my dried herbs to get up the last little powdered pieces, particularly when powdering them and transferring them from the tray to the coffee grinder and into mason jars. I’ve never had herbs stick so badly, but so far this is the only negative of these silicone trays. I am looking forward to trying eggs and beef stock next. They really do contain the liquids well, but keep in mind that you need the dehydrators tray under these mats because these mats are flexible and thin, they Fold in half as soon as you pick them up. I keep them on the tray when moving and place them on a cutting board when scraping, positioning or layering my food onto them.

the edges on these ones are flimsy and do not hold liquad well, you cannot smoothe down sheet edges just flop. Other brands we use are much better

I use these at least once a week to dehydrate different purées. The dried food comes off easily when done and they are super easy to clean.
