Automata Too: Four Working Models to Cut Out and Glue Together Paperback – 24 Jan. 2001

Made these with my children at school as a gift for them (Year 5). They loved spending the small group time with me and also having something fun to take home. Some of the items were a bit fiddly but we persevered. One or two children found the cutting/pressing out parts difficult, needed careful supervision in order not to spoil them. Also sticking needs patience, if using white glue give each part time to dry - small bits need holding in place.

In theory this is a great book but in practice it’s dreadful. The instructions are really difficult to understand and the diagrams are impossible to see clearly. I even looked on YouTube to see if I could find some clearer guidance but nothing! I would not recommend this book.

First class service good value for money.

Bought this as a present and it gave hours of fun. Great item.
