Mine was plastic. however I bought it quite a while ago so they may have changed.

Can pure carrier oil be used on hair?

I use it for skin but due to its astringent properties and mildness, I am sure it is fine for scalp/hair. Either use neat or add to a homemade or bought conditioner :-)

i would seek professional advise in your case however i too suffer with these issues myself and use oils only at night as they can be vey greasy for the day and it seems to work for me, also they meaning everyone says to drink plenty of water! hope this helps.
