I used to work with Marples chisels, hence these were my first choice when ordering a set for home use. They come in their own wallet holder and with edge guards, so no rolling about in the old tool box. Lovely quality and should last many years. They don't come with a cutting edge and need to be honed before use, but that's simple enough with an oil stone and a few minutes.

I paid £32 (currently priced even lower!) and was skeptical that I was going to get a “budget” set similar to the set I was throwing away, but the positive reviews persuaded me to take a gamble. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of these chisels. They feel good and balanced and are sharp. The key thing here is also the folding slip case they come with. It’s understated how important it is to store your chisels in a protective case for longevity… just relying on those protective plastic end caps (that often get misplaced) isn’t enough, as I’ve found it out from past experience!

Well made. Excellent storage pouch. They don't seem that sharp though. I added an additional grind to hone the edges. But, having said this, they are well made, and seem strong. I don't have anything to compare them to, but for average (DIY, not daily) use, I would say they are a descent buy. Enjoy.

Nice set, just need a bit of sharpening. Metal thru handle is great, no more broken handles.

Nice quality chisels they are not razor sharp when they come but anyone abusing chisels should know how to sharpen them anyway. Great product, quality is good enough for professional use
