What color will get a sponge cake closest to halloween orange? Ditto green? Ditto purple?

Red and yellow make orange 🍊. Paste colours are better as they are more concentrated.

Has anyone used the violet for turning buttercream white? Did it work?

I would imagine that a very tiny amount of violet might remove any yellow from the frosting but haven’t tried it, I use a whitener
