Wish it had a booklet but it's fine. The disc was not secure in the case, that was not fine. It's not scratched badly so I'm okay.

Stands among the greatest fighting games
I remember playing this game at a friend's house. Finally decided to grab it for myself. If your a fan of fighting games, this is a must have. The Guilty Gear series has some of the most creative characters and flashy special moves that I've ever seen. The combat is deep. You wont get far without mastering the many techniques and move inputs. This isn't a button masher. If you try to make it one and fight the computer or an experienced player, you're going to get thrashed. The difficulty in this game can be unforgiving to any newbie or even a decent player. Especially when it comes to the mission modes. Each one puts you in a completely unfair disadvantage (and that's the way I like 'em). Sometimes have missions that you can't jump, or maybe you wont be able to hurt your opponent until you can get a combo chain of 7 or something... Then you might be put against someone who regenerates and you only have 1 HP. There is a great sense of accomplishment after beating each of them. And that's just the mission modes. There is also Survival, Arcade, Story, and M.O.M. (Medal of Millionaire). The only thing I can think of that might turn away a few people is the art style. It is very heavy on the anime side. I personally think it makes it even better though. Now, lets discuss the characters. There are no cookie-cutters or copy-paste characters in this game. Each of them are as unique as their move list, as well as their theme music (but we will cover that a little later). There are 24 characters including the unlockables. Some big, some small, some fast, some slow, some teleport, and some can even (sort-of) fly/hover/swim in the air. Some moves inputs are the same for most characters, but there are many more unique inputs to counter-balance that issue. At the same time though, it does make it easier for (semi-)new players to try out the other characters since some of the inputs are the same. I might also mention some of the inputs can be a little difficult to enter on an Xbox controller. The music is one of my favorite parts of this game. There are so many epic metal(-ish) tracks in here. There are only a few themes that I find to be uninteresting. Among my favorite: "Awe of She" = Dizzy's theme and "Still in the Dark" = EX Millia vs EX Eddie theme.Gameplay: 9Presentation: 10Characters: 10Music: 9Overall: 9.5

Guilty Gear X2
It has a relatively high learning curve, and is not for beginners. Still, if the gap of 8 years isn't too daunting,

Did not work. Cannot return
Was really looking forward to playing this title again. Very disappointed. No scratches, just wouldn’t play.

Great game if you always wanted to fight online, but....
...well I thought it was only okay otherwise. The fighting modes, music and artwork were all well done. However other than the online capability, nothing really stood out to me as fantastic which is way I only gave it three stars in the end for "average".The characters were a little weird sometimes like the doctor with a paper bag over his head, the haunted dude with hearts on his cloths, the guy who fights with fans... but I kind of expected that (the crossdressing british boy who sounds, looks, dances and acts like a girl was the only one that completely creeped me out). There were only six characters I used more than once, the girl that fights with her hair, the gaint dude that reminded me of the Juggernaut, the dead guy who reminds me alot of the Spiderman baddie Venom, the wacky random robot, Sol Badguy (I only remeber his name because his last name is badguy and he is a bad guy)and the hardcore ninja dude(who is my all time best character in that game). To me, the rest of the characters really weren't worth having around. If only they had more interesting characters to choose from I might have given it a higher grade considering all the standered modern 2D gaming features plus the option of online brawling.Without the online opition I might as have played Marvel vs Capcom or SNK vs Capcom. In fact, because I prefer the fighter selection in both those games, I would probably would have overlooked Guilty Gear X2 completely if it hadn't been for the online fighting feature.

Cheap price, fun game.
Bought for my Xbox 360. With an update it is backward compatible. Fun game at a cheap price. Good buy.

Another lost gem
I might get flamed for this but, this is my favorite 2D fighter of all time. Above and beyond Street Fighter, Mortal combat and others. Excellent (but VERY Japanese) gameplay and graphics. Highly recommended to the fighter fan who has yet to play this.Great shipping and condition of product.

Arcade perfect port, but lags in online live play a tad
Xbox owners are finally able to experience the hype behind the GG series with an extended version the PS2 GGX2. The xbox version features three characters that are selectable right off the bat (from a bale of selectable characters) that weren't in the PS2 version, one of which is an entirely never-before-seen new character as well.Like Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO, GGX2R is an arcade port with every single frame kept intact. GGX2R also harneses some of the most beautifully-detailed 2d backgrounds and character animations ever seen in a 2d fighting game (only game that rivals in this aspect is the SF3 series).Controls are fairly decent, though at times they can feel a tad unresponsive and rigid. This mainly depends on the players preference on controller setting. Overall, the controls are virtuos.Unfortunatley, also like CVS.SNK2 EO, GGX2R lags in the online department (but not nearly as faulty as CVS.SNK2 EO). Despite the developers working on hard to prevent this problem, there is STILL slowdown when heading off against opponents online. There are times when the connection status will show "Excellent" and still have slight delay in play (slowdown). Also, if the connect shows "bad" or "poor" you can forget it. The controls will be so slow to respond that it's nearlly impossible to pull off moves correctly. However, this isn't an all time aspect, it just appears from time to time, so have no fear. That said, GGX2R is a perfect port to an excellent 2d fighter, and with a price tag for under twenty bucks, you simply cannot go wrong. A must have title, for any sincere 2d gamer.
