Great game to support phonics learning.
Great game to support phonics learning. We bought this for my 4 year old who loves games and reading. She has played well with it and enjoys it.She likes the colours of the dominoes and sounds out the words well. It's good for practicing sounding out parts of words and identifying real and fake words.I like that each tile is a complete word fo example you might get sh one end and tra thr other, so it gives you a clue that trash is a word. This can help little ones find sounds within their pile to match. The instructions include ideas for various games too.Would recommend.

I got these to help my 6 year old with her spellings and she couldnt quite grasp what it was trying to do. My 8 year old did however and enjoyed it. Will be really useful in school for interventions or phonics based activities

Creative word play
Great activity for kids in class to use and talk about. Durable, easy to wipe and kids use own imagination to create words

Nice colours
5 year old liked to just line up the tiles in colour order rather than reading the letters. Once or twice though she started to get the idea. Had to find an old chocolate box to store them because jar a little small

Great learning resource but jar too small!!!!
I would've given this a 5 star rating if it was for the actual product alone. The tiles are great and do exactly what they're meant to and I've used them with my students and my own children a lot. BUT the jar is too small!!! Once the pieces are out, it's a real struggle to get them back in unless you carefully pack them in every tiny gap. We have a ziplock bag for the extra pieces as we just can't get them all back in (about 1/4 of the pieces). Massive design flaw!!
