superb piece of kit
This pedal does exactly what it says it will. I wanted to change to rack mounted effects and began by changing patches manually. The FCB1010 was recommended to me by a friend and has since been recommended to friends by me. It is a solid unit that has so far stood up well to live use and i see no reason to doubt it will last a long time. Programming is quick and easy and can be mostly be done standing or sitting. I say mostly because some of the global parameters require switching on the unit while holding a pedal down. It can control up to 5 midi units although i am only using it for 4 and the expression pedals can be set up to do pretty much anything that can be controlled by midi. There are also 2 1/4" sockets which can be used in place of normal "on/off" type pedals for things like bypass. They can be set to operate in several different modes although i dont use them, instead i have set a "bypass" patch. My only criticism is the size. It is a very long unit and that will be a deciding factor for some. For me it isnt a problem. All in all a great unit, well worth the price and should last for a very long time

robust well designed programmable Midi footpedal
The pedal is well built and does just what I expected. I downloaded a free program to program it and that made it really easy rather than use lots of various clicks. It allowed me to assign sequential notes to the 100 buttons with one action rather than have to set each one up individually with multiple clicks. The hardest bit was figuring out what I wanted to do with all these buttons. I got the pedal to create a looper rather like Ed Sheeran uses. I tried hooking it up to Mobius but had a few issues so am now using it with Reaper. Its taken a while to get Reaper to do what I wanted, I created 8 regions of 8 bars and can flip between them using the pedal, start, stop record etc. The clever bit is each region plays out before the next is activated so it all keeps in time and you have 8 bars to click the switch for the next part. The only thing I cant get Reaper to "select" the current region using the pedal, it takes a double mouse click which seems to be unassignable. I also use the pedal to control GuitarRig 5, that was fairly easy to set up after a few false starts. I had to use MIDI notes in the end as it didn't seem to respond to other types of MIDI signal. All 3 programs I have interfaced have had an easy learn mode, you just set a function and press a pedal and it remembers it. It all gets more complicated if for some reason that doesn't work, I ended up scrabbling around info reading the pedals ref guide the programs and having to gen up on MIDI. I still haven't got Guitar Rig responding to the expression pedal although it quite happily mapped it. What would really be nice would be some suggested ways to set up the pedal for use with various software.

Useful piece of kit
In setting up a portable church organ I needed a way to change registrations without tapping the screen and to have functional swell pedals. This fulfils the task admirably, with masses of capacity to spare when I buy further sample sets. Light enough to carry, but crucially solid enough to not slide around the floor in use. Not used it in real situations yet, but very promising in test. It needs programming to save the midi commands, the software (downloadable elsewhere but free) would be my recommendation as the manual method is ridiculously time-consuming even when following the YouTube help. Overall well worth the investment.

complex as hell to configure & use
Awful pedal, complex as hell to configure & use, incompatibility issues, useless manual, returned for refund, used to money towards a Boss ME-80, now happy.

Brilliant and versatile once you've figured out how to get it set up
Great piece of kit, works very well, unfortunately getting it to do what you want takes some time, especially as it does not come with anything resembling a manual, but once you've got there it's perfect. Programming it is frankly a pain in the neck, even with a PC editor. I do, however reccomend downloading a free PC Editor, because otherwise, as far as I can tell, buttons 1-5 can only be programmed as programme change (PC) functions, buttons 6 and 7 can only be control change (CC) functions and 10 can only be notes. As I wanted only CC functions I had to use a PC Editor to programme it, one bank at a time, which took a while, but I'm now very happy with my setup.Pros:-Versatile - with around 100 buttons (10 buttons x 10 banks), plus expression pedals, and being able to programme (with an editor), PCs, CCs and notes, this thing can do a hell of a lot-Sturdy - built very well-Functional - it worksCons:-Programming is tedious, especially if you're not familiar with MIDI controls-Hefty - takes up a fair bit of space and isn't exactly lightweight either. I haven't had to move it around town yet, but I don't expect that'll be trivial- No manual, which is just laziness on the part of the manufacturerIt's a good piece of hardware and I can't really fault it, but, to a non-engineer, it looks as though it wouldn't have been too difficult to make it better, e.g. by letting you select whether you wanted PC or CC control for any given button or simply providing some instruction on how to programme it

Great MIDI unit for my guitar modelling unit
Great value and very robustly made floor control for Midi and expression pedals for my Fractal guitar modelling and effects unit. The bonus of two expression pedals that I can assign to volume, wah and pitch blocks makes it very useful.

Connectvity technology is NOT USB
I don’t know why they mentioned the connection technology is USB while it does not have USB connectivity built in. The guide is so useless I had to learn how to use it via 10 different youtube videos. And also there was no information that no connection cable of any kind is contained in the box, just a power cable. Not so easy to use but still good value for money, good quality and good material.
