Great Amplifier for the price.
Amazing little amplifier which I bought for my sister (she wanted speakers like mine because I got an SMSL SA-50) , it's definitely not as good as my SMSL SA-50, but for the price it is plenty loud and has decent quality. For the price it's the best you can get, it's tiny, comes with everything you need and works pretty much instantly. it has AUX audio input, with two cables provided, a decent quality 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male audio cable and a 3.5mm to RCA cable, both are excellent quality (the RCA to 3.5mm was so good I actually used it to replace my old cable which often had issues). It also has a USB audio input and a USB cable to allow you to connect it to your pc (probably phone too if you have a USB OTG cable), this allows you to use your Nobsound as an external USB DAC (Digital to analogue converter) and then uses the output from the DAC for the amplifier. Lastly it has Bluetooth input, this is convenient as it allows you to use the amplifier wirelessly, I believe the Bluetooth connection has been updated from the previous model of the Nobsound to Bluetooth 4.0 allowing for higher quality transfer of audio, however there is still an audible difference in sound quality as music sounds worse on Bluetooth - try not to use the Bluetooth when possible. The device does come with a power brick and UK power plug, I've had no issues with these and they do the job perfectly. The audio quality is good, but not amazing, if you want quality go for something a little more expensive such as the SMSL SA-50 which can achieve much better quality at louder volumes, however if you're tight for space or money, you can't go wrong with this device. There is no way to switch between the inputs, you physically connect and disconnect each cable and a voice will speak whichever input is being used, its simple but it works. I'd 100% recommend this Amplifier, but if you want quality over connection options, go for the SMSL SA-5 or even the SA-36.

Awesome little amps with built-in soundcard - used for running bass shakers on my Sim Rig.
I've had one of these for years hooked up to a pair of JBL Control Ones, and the sound is impressive. I usually connect to my phone using Bluetooth, and it always amuses me to hear the voice say, "Bluetooth Mode" when I turn the amp on, because it sounds just like Mary Poppins! In all the time I've had that amp, I never knew that it also has a built-in soundcard. If you plug it into a PC (I'm on Windows 10), it's detected as a USB sound device, and can be assigned audio just like any other soundcard. That is a massive bonus, as it means I can use it to drive a pair of bass shakers using software connected to a driving or flight simulator program without needing to mess about with additional soundcards. I've just bought a second, identical one and have now got the two of them hooked up to four Puck bass shakers. They vibrate my simulator rig stand to give a more realistic sensation, and to give feedback about how the car is behaving on track. I can also connect the amp to my PC through the Bluetooth dongle, and again, it's seen as an audio device. However, I wasn't able to get two of these amps to connect to Bluetooth at once, so my sim rig will be connected via USB. With just one connected, it did run the bass shakers over Bluetooth. My old amp has been out in my workshop, frozen in the winter, baked in the summer and has been totally reliable, and in all honesty it's far louder than I really needed in a shed / garden workshop. The amp comes with a 12V power supply (with a proper UK moulded plug). This type of amp can produce more output power with more voltage, up to 50W per channel at 24V. With the 12V supply the amp is completely unstressed. Just to see what it was capable of, I hooked it up to my PA speakers - a pair of huge boxes housing passive 12" drivers and compression-driver horns, rated to 400W. The amp didn't care! It ran them perfectly happily and was surprisingly loud with the 12V power supply. It's definitely enough for the Puck bass shakers, which are only rated at 15W. Also in the box is a USB cable, a stereo 35.mm jack to jack cable and a stereo phone to 3.5mm jack cable. These amps are very hard to beat for the price if you want a something with a small footprint that can run pretty much any speaker you give it. They have proper binding posts for the speaker outputs and both Bluetooth and USB connectivity. There is also an AUX-IN socket so you can connect older sources.

Why I chose this item - Great value, good power and decent soundstage produced.
This item was bought to power a pair of B&W 602 S2 speakers. My home sound system is exclusively Sonos, but I was given the pair of B&W speaker, although ideally i would have immediately integrated into the Sonos ecosystem I was unwilling to pay the £599 for the new Sonos Amp. I very much wanted to enjoy these speakers but wanted something easy and good value. Initially I looked at older style hi-fi amps with Bluetooth, but these were £200 plus, which was more than I was willing to spend. But then as luck would have it this little beast came into my life. It is small, simple and powerful. Easy to set up and a marvel given the price. Pros - * Great value for Money * Powerful given the size (Plenty of volume to the B&W in a medium sized living room). * Sound quality is very good, obviously helped by a decent set of speakers. * Bluetooth is Strong and Stable. * Plenty of additional connectivity options * The soundstage created with the speakers is nuanced and impressive, and on favourite tracks I have heard "new" sounds that I have never picked up on. (My comparison set is 2x Sonso Play 1s, 1x Sonos Play 5 1st gen, a Sonso Sub-woofer gen 2 and a Playbar. ) Also to provide context I am keen musician (piano, guitar and drums) and like to think I have a reasonable ear. I have listened to a range of music, rock, pop, classical, as well as radio. Each through my phone and my laptop. The BT connection is very reliable and picked up within seconds of powering it on. Cons - * For me there is a slight hiss when I connect the speakers - but I am very sensitive to this and once music is playing it is barley noticeable. It may be a number of factors, including how good the speakers are, but given the price I am not worried about this and it would not put me off recommending. * Being ultra-fussy; the power on/off switch does feel and look a little cheap, but given the price of the unit this is a very minor observation. * Although there is plenty of volume (as other reviews state) it not overwhelming powerful, but certainly plenty for a semi-detached house! And also I am comparing an amp that is less than £30 to a Sonos setup that is around £2000! Overall I am very pleased with this item and would highly recommend, even though I really do want to hook the B&Ws into the Sonos Amp this will provide more than an enough as a very pleasing stop-gap, and also will be a handy little Bluetooth interface for other items like a non-Bluetooth TV and a Ruark DAB Radio... all for the price of a few pints down the pub!

Blown away!
I’m honestly blown away by this little amplifier. I wasn’t expecting much but this tiny little amp is a bang for the buck. It looks and feels premium, comes in a brushed aluminium casing. I’m using it to convert my two ceiling passive speakers into Bluetooth speakers. The audio quality is impressive! No noticeable hiss. Bluetooth range is not that great. As long as you are within 10 feet of the device, it works fine. Beyond that, it starts losing audio.

Excellent quality - why buy an expensive bulky amp when this is available?
I had the previous version (30W per channel) - this is a bit more powerful (50W per channel) and the sound quality seems even better (tested with a range of classical and some pop with deep bass - using very high quality speaker cable and very good speakers. The speakers are rated 40W RMS each. My guess is that the quoted power for the amp is peak power - not RMS - as my speakers cope happily. IMO 40W per channel for a sitting room is fine for all circumstances - I can make a lot of noise. Because the quality is so good it is harder to judge volume (on poor equipment it is the distortion at high volumes that make it sound so loud). The amp's noise level is undetectably low. The build quality is excellent - a nice solid bit of kit. I put insulating tape over the speaker terminals in case something conductive is dropped on them by accident - I would prefer a plastic cover to be on these. The supplied aux cables and usb cables are all of good quality and welcome. The supplied power supply is fine and gets you up to middle volumes (it is 12V). I use the following 90W 19V laptop power supply with it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071VC94V2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 'Outtag 90W Slim Universal Laptop Charger 15V-20V Automatic Voltage Power Adapter Supply with UK Plug Cord for Asus HP Dell Toshiba IBM Lenovo Acer Samsung Sony Chromebook for Tablet and Smartphones ' This comes with many connectors - and I use the connector labelled 'M5'. This power supply works really well and allows the amp to be a lot louder. It is also possible that sound quality is better when at moderate volumes where the amp is capable of high power operation. There is no problem connecting my Nokia 3.1 phone via Bluetooth and the sound quality is excellent. This phone has Bluetooth 4.1 I think so I do not get the increased advantage of the amp's Bluetooth 5 capability (eg greater distance). This is no problem if the phone is in the same room as the amp. I really run out of superlatives with this amp. I have a good ear for quality - and though I'm sure a specialist audiophile could find faults I cannot.

Great little amp... bit too light though!
This is a great little thing. Brought it to power my near field monitors for my home studio rig. Nice and quiet, compact, good connection options. You get a computer woman announcing what input it's using as it auto switches depending on what you've got plugged in, which can catch you out if you've left it on really high! I've not used the USB input as I have it wired in on the aux in (which the woman calls A - U - X mode..... don't think they understand the abbreviation ) and the bluetooth works fine. My only 2 minor niggles are a) it's too light so the weight of my speaker cables pull it off the back of the desk so I've had to doubleside tape mine down, and b) it would be better if the input sockets were all on the back, but then it would have to be bigger as there's no room back there. All told... great amp for the money. Sounds absolutely fine to me. I'm no big budget record studio, but I know crap sound when I hear it... it's my job!

NOISE FEEDBACK
getting massive feedback in the form of a squeaky noise, ordered new bannana clips and aux cable just incase the wires are fault (although highly doubt it)

Works! but Don't expect too much!
The amplifier works as described, however there is no technical data on what speaker impedance this device works on best. Judging on most comments: people say it "sounds great" on any speakers they happen to connect it with. Some even say that their sound improved when compared to their previously device/stereo hifi. That wasn't the case with me. Here's my honest rating: Cons: Very little bass output. (bass speakers/woofers : require a certain degree of power which the adapter cannot handle) Distorted over compressed sound when sound level is beyond 2/3 (also due to lack of power) Low Volume: it barely reaches a sound level of 25W in total (also due to adapter) No In-built EQ (you rely on your source EQ (when availabe) : if you play music from youtube lets say over your phone - you cant EQ the sound) Pros: Design : Small and slick - with a big volume knob (Straight to the point) Price: Its dam cheap lets face it : and you get all necessary connections even usb cable Functionality: many input options: USB /bluetooth/ analogue The sound quality is 100% in line with its price - Dont expect a dynamic sound range with big fat bass and crisp highs & clear distinctive mids like you're used to from a well calibrated sound system. You need a lot of EQing to get some Bass on it. I am using Panasonic boxed hifi speakers 6ohms-110W from a broken down hifi. Dont take me wrong though! the sound isnt horrible - its still enjoyable to listen to as background music. To fully judge this amplifyer you need the right impedance speakers ideally 60-80W range and a power source that can give it as much Amps it needs.
