A good price for a very useful piece of kit
I give frequent presentations to quite large audiences. I needed a projector stand which wasn't too high, but which also had a tilting mechanism to help reduce the distortion of the splaying edges of an image projected onto a large screen from a projector raised on its own front feet. Yes, I know that almost all modern projectors have Keystone Correction, but this is usually limited to 30 degrees maximum, and when an image is projected upwards from a low angle, then even that correction might not be enough. Why do I want a lowish height and a tilting tray? Well, when the projector is on a higher stand (or something improvised like an upturned box on a table top) and there's a large audience stretching 8-10 rows behind it, then some of those sitting close to the centre line of the projected image have their view obstructed by the projector and stand, so the answer is usually to raise the screen height. This particular stand meets all my needs, even at its lowest setting. The projector has a solid platform and the tilting mechanism works well, giving a proper rectangle to the projected image. There is a reasonable amount of height adjustment, and it has a decent amount of stability. The lip round the edge of the tray has a thin foam cushion on the inside vertical edge, and serves as a handy stop for the projector feet when the tray is tilted upwards. It won't offer full protection in the event of a serious collision (e.g. if someone blunders into the stand), but it does a decent job. If you want further security, you could look at things like long velcro strips wrapped round the tray and projector, but keep them away from projector heat sources! You could take the tray off when you store the stand, but I find it such a faff every time that I just tilt the tray to be flat to the centre column and store it like that. The tripod feet do of course close up. It could certainly act as a stand for a 15.6" laptop, though there would be no room to use a standard mouse or even a trackball model. If you have a larger laptop, that might pose a problem - check its dimensions against those quoted for the tray. If things like tray size and ultimate stability are your key concerns, then you might need to look elsewhere - and expect to pay a lot more. For what I needed, I can recommend this model with a clear conscience. It's good value and quite well made. I certainly wouldn't be without it.

Well worth it. Good product.
Really good, easy to assemble. Just remember to give the screw fixing the top platform tray a good bang and it will come out so that you can fit the tray in place. Overall easy to assemble with clear instructions. Sturdy and easy enough to store standing up in a corner of the room with the tray flat. Really happy, does what it says on the tin.

Almost Perfect
Well made, sturdy and good value. The one let down is the top plate fitting. It can go on in two different ways. One way allows the top plate to fold flat against the upright, but then it will not go fully horizontal. The other way allows it to go fully horizontal but then it will not fold flat against the upright. I ended up drilling out more of the metal on its bracket so it folds flat and goes horizontal. Such a simple alteration, cant understand why it wasn't manufactured that way.

It fits my laptop, sound card, and phone. It's sturdy too.
I got this for church. It is perfect. I use it to sit my laptop, sound card, and phone when I'm playing in the band. It's sturdy. It stays on stage, so we don't ever really worry about storage capacity or even it's weight. Often, it is used on stage by other people for other purposes. So, it's been a great investment. For the price; great value.

Not welded- just needs a firm tap with a hammer!
Was really concerned when I couldn't assemble as the bolt just wouldn't move. Online low star reviews said it was welded and I thought so too, and they sent theirs back, so I assumed with disappointment I'd have to do the same. However my neighbour popping in just gave it a quick tap with a hammer and all was well! No need to return! I bought this as I'd been borrowing a friend's exact same one for use with my projector giving talks. I was impressed with the sturdiness of his and the adjustability. Excellent piece of kit. So impressed I had to buy one for myself. One very small drawback the tray doesn't fold absolutely flat for storage but this is a minor niggle when considering the price and performance. Very happy my neighbour dropped in!

Portable and efficient stand - highly recommend!
I bought the Pulse PLS00318 adjustable stand to make presenting with a laptop a bit more flexible, and it’s turned out to be far more useful than I expected. The height adjustment gives a good range, so I can easily set it low when I’m seated or raise it up when presenting, without having to balance equipment on tables or boxes. Once set, it stays where it should and feels reassuringly solid for everyday use. One of the standout features for me is the tripod stand on the base. It makes setup quick and stable on different floor surfaces, and I don’t have to worry about it tipping over when someone walks past. At the same time, the tripod folds away neatly, so the whole stand is easy to move from room to room or pack away when not in use. I’ve found it light enough to carry without effort, but still sturdy enough to hold my equipment confidently! The platform itself is a good size and the tilt adjustment really helps get the viewing angle right. Overall, it feels like a well-thought-out design that focuses on practicality rather than unnecessary extras. It also represents very good value, especially when compared to other brands who force you to set up a large base (often with wheels or a bulky stand) - I think this is a fantastic choice! There are a couple of minor downsides worth mentioning. When extended to its absolute maximum height, it can feel a little less rigid, so I tend to keep it slightly lower for the best stability. The tilt adjustment can also take a moment to fine-tune until you get used to it. Neither of these have been deal-breakers for me. All things considered, this is a simple, reliable adjustable stand that does exactly what it promises. The combination of adjustability, portability and the very convenient tripod base makes it something I’d happily recommend and continue using regularly.

Consigliato
