Samsung Galaxy S8 Single SIM 64GB 5.8-Inch Android Sim-Free Smartphone - Orchid Grey

I love my new phone. Decided to buy this as was much cheaper than buying from my provider over three years. So glad I did as it certainly seems excellent value for money. Was delivered well within the expected delivery date. Extremely easy to set up although still getting used to it. The sound is fantastic, so clear, well impressed. Also had earphones in the box but so far haven't used them. The clarity of photos is amazing, definitely the best taken with a phone I've had so far. Battery life is a little disappointing, I seem to be charging every day but probably down to the amount of apps I have downloaded. So far my only criticism is the calendar. I seem to be having problems with notifications in that it doesn't seem to let me know about events. I have downloaded another calendar and the notifications on this seem easier to sort out; its ok, but would prefer the calendar on my own phone. My 15yrs old daughter is most impressed and jealous as she rates it better than her Iphone 6S Would I recommend - definitely. Would I buy again from this seller - yes. All in all a valuable purchase that I am really impressed with. As previously advised I would suggest buying a phone cover and screen protector

I was a bit concerned after reading reviews saying that people get scammed but had already purchased so could not really return at that point. I am happy to say that it arrived early and in factory sealed condition. It had a European plug included with the phone (Had a genuine Samsung UK plug in the shipping box) and a sticker that said "Approved for Nordic operators" on the box so it had clearly been bought overseas. I had a look online at the IMEI number and it seems to have had the factory warranty activated the day I bought it so all is good on the point. The screen is amazing and fits nicely in hand and with a built in heart rate sensor that can be used with the Samsung health app it help keep you active, and includes fingerprint or iris unlocking. All in all it was a very good purchase at this price and I am sure this phone will serve me for years to come.

With Apple pricing their flagshio phone (the X) at silly money and not really cutting it with the 8 series, when it was time for me to upgrade after 9 years of iPhone ownership (the last 3.5 with a 6) I researched the feasibility of moving to Android in the form of this Samsung. No regrets at all so far - very easy to retain the vast majority of what an Apple-centric user needs on a day to day basis (I also have a Mac and iPad). Calendars, Notes and Contacts all remain in sync via the cloud (you'll need a couple of free apps) and transfer of data such as music & photos was easily achievable. I feel I am not missing out on anything, have a great up-to-date phone and have saved between £220 and £550 over opting for a 64GB iPhone 8 or iPhone X. This refurbished item was a genuine factory job, coming in a sealed box with new accessories, saving many £££s over 'new'. If you've been tempted to make the move to Android or but refurbished but have been wary - fear not - you have nuch to gain by doing so. Purchased from SmartTech Store. 100% genuine product. Came with original seal and all accessories intact and brand new. European model with UK charger. Sim-free as well - and I've been able to use it abroad with a local Sim (after using a UK Sim for the recommended 5 minutes minimum). About the phone itself, I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and as it's my very first Android phone, I have to say I'm quite pleased indeed. Transfering all of my data from my iPhone using the Smart Switch was a breeze. Battery power lasts about a day, fast charging takes just over an hour, camera is pretty decent and the phone's got so many features that I'm yet to explore. I haven't bothered with the fingerprint and face recognition access though, as I'm happy to still use a PIN. All in all, a beautiful device. No regrets.

The Samsung S8 is now comfortably one of the best phones on the market and it has not disappointed me in the slightest. Combined with the DeX it became the only electronic device I used on a daily basis and I cannot fault it. I've dropped it several times and have had nothing break. I've used it largely for productivity (DeX, word and excel equivalents) and entertainment, the latter of which it has been exceedingly good due to the quality of the screen (3k, 100% colour coverage, HDR technology, never mind other things like it's pixel density). The seller also should fantastic customer service, delivering this ahead of schedule. When the extra fast charging adapter stopped working they send out a new one immediately, not questions asked (ok, there was the one about checking my address! :-P). This is despite the fact two fast charging adapters were sent out originally, one European and one UK. Would highly recommend the product and the seller, something I've done already amongst friends and family. Would happily buy from these guys again.

Good phone but out of date for product support.

Great phone. It does everything I need and has a fantastic screen for TV when I'm caught out away from home. Also the addition of MHL via the USB is an absolute bonus on holiday. Using a VPN combined with the appropriate HDMI/USB C/ USB lead, I've been able to watch UK and most of my subscription TV "stuff" on my holiday TV wherever I've been in the world (apart from SKY and Channel 5 who don't allow output to another device off a phone). You can however still watch them on the phone, albeit with one or two regional exceptions dependent upon VPN service. I find it mind boggling that my phone replaces so much of my other kit.... not least my Sat Nav (thanks Google Maps)!

order the phone earlier this week on a quick delivery. it was due to come friday but i actually got it thurs. the packaging was pristine. when un boxing everything was perfect (you seem to get a lot of little bits with the phone charger, headphones, smart connect adapter for transfering files from your old phone etc). ive since powered up the phone and configured to how i want it. what can i say - im extremely happy with the phone, saved a lot of money compared with buying from high street retailer. i have found smart tech to be extremely professional and provided me with first class service. i would definitely recommend to family and friends. one thing i found whats worth mentioning is that there are a lot of other online retailers selling the samsung s8. lots of these got varying reviews good/bad. i did try contacting several to get some basic questions answered about the phone and smart tech were the only one that came back to me and gave the answers to re-assure me that i was dealing with a decent company. spending over £450.00 you want to know that you are getting what you paid for. so as mentioned above i am impressed with my purchase and will be using smart tech again when i want to purchase my next phone.
