Perfect for my boat | POWDER ABC | 1 kg | 8A, 34B, C rating Fire Extinguisher
There is a big array of fire extinguishers and prices available... Rather confusing. This is a small extinguisher, so easy to use as it is not heavy and does not take too much space- perfect size. It comes with rating of 8A, 34B, C and it is a dry powder against ABC types of fires. 1. Having checked with the Boat Safety Examiner, two of these is what we need for a 22 foot boat (safety requirements vary in line with size of vessel). If you are confused about what to get for your boat check section 6 of the BSS guide: Amazon does not allow putting the link in reviews, so I suggest one googles "The Boat Safety Scheme Essential Guide" and then select this website: BSS - Boat Safety Scheme. Alternatively, ask the Boat Safety Examiner beforehand, what are the fire extinguisher requirements. 2. It is certified: Accredited to EN3 by BSI and Kitemarked (I checked the product specs before the purchase) . The User Guide is under "Technical Specification" as a PDF). Some fire extinguishers are cheaply made and not certified, so ensure the one you buy is certified. 3. It arrived hermetically sealed and packed within a cardboard box. 4. It is eligible for a Prime delivery (most of the other extinguishers were not). I am on a Prime free trial so was disappointed that the delivery time is anytime until 21:00... And not tractable. However it did get here the next day which was great.

Perfect little thing.
I live in a top floor two bedroom flat and having this around gives me a little peace in my mind. Hopefully I will never need to use it. But its nice to no its there. I like that its small and not dominant, I might get another one for the other end of the flat.

Make sure you check pressure!
Good quality but make sure you check that the pressure is in the green, the first one arrived completely discharged and had to be replaced.

Safety First
Excellent little fire extinguisher. We have a BBQ hut so this is a very valuable piece of kit to have in there.
