Epic Quest
Very good Book. The Varanguard Lore and the Story are 100/100 (much about Life in Eithpoints and Varanspire itself). Must have one. No regrets.

Read This Book!
Okay, I'm a warhammer geek. However, this was an exceptionally great book. Having the bad guy as the main character and getting to see the inner workings of the Slaves to Darkness was awesome. Great writing. Great Story. Likeable and hate-able characters. This is simply a good fun book.

ultimately entertaining, wish it was longer
being a Warhammer fan is a tough proposition. not only are the models expensive, but there are some feelings that the setting does not want you to like the factions you do. as a result, as a longtime Chaos fan, a book with a Chaos Lord as the main protagonist is incredibly gratifying.characterization is very strong, with even minor characters being given enough depth to understand what they would be like without our main character. said main character is likable, in that his desire to succeed and prove those who doubt him wrong.ultimately, my biggest complaints in the story are length-related, as it feels that some of the ideas of the story aren't given adequate time to be explored properly.
