So far so good
This was delivered very promptly and I'm pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well made it appears. I couldn't wait to use it (eek) so I cleaned my face with fragrance free soap and water and set to work. For the record, I am 50 next month and I have generally good skin but I am starting to get fine lines on my forehead and crows feet. My skin is fair and sensitive. I have to say it doesn't hurt too much, it's perfectly bearable. I didn't feel any need for numbing cream. I did go extremely red however and my face felt hot so I would recommend doing this at night. It does sting on the forehead. I'll repeat the process in a month or so and will report back periodically on any changes/improvements (and I may downgrade the star rating accordingly if after several months I see no improvement). After using the roller I cleaned it in hot water and washing-up liquid, and before use I also sanitised it with alcohol - this is really important. This device also comes with a handy plastic storage box. Edit: The morning after - I woke up this morning and my skin was a lot less red, but still rather pink and also very dry (as expected - this demonstrates I used the roller effectively). I put on my usual rich facial moisturiser and within about an hour my skin was dry and crepey again, all the moisturiser had been absorbed. My skin felt quite rough so in the end I slathered on a load of vaseline, which also disappeared in minutes. Having read a number of discussion boards on the subject of rollering, this seems to be fairly normal. It appears that some people will look worse before they look better. Three days on and all signs of redness have gone - my skin is unbelievably even and clear, it's quite amazing. However my wrinkles haven't improved and apparently that can only be expected after several months. It's now been around five weeks since I first used the roller and I do think my skin is firmer than it was. It's also clearer and looks a bit more even. I think there has been a slight improvement in the fine lines on my forehead. No change to my crow's feet as yet, but I will work on those a bit more when I roller for the second time next week. Incidentally my husband also bought this same roller and there is a noticeable improvement in the clarity and firmness of his skin, more so than mine. Apparently it can take up to a year for the full benefits of rollering to appear so I will continue to be hopeful for further improvement.

Great product and price
This is the 2nd one I have purchased for my self (my child found the 1st one that I had for years and rived it to pieces) and 5th for family and friend. It's easy to use, and I feel like I get great results from it. I use it on my face, neck, décolletage, arms and knees. Any where that the skin may get a little loose as we age.

Seems to be working! But don't expect overnight results
If you're reading this, like me, you've tried everything. Everything you can afford that isn't the laser procedure. From lemon juice, Bio-Oil, Re-gen cream, Palmer's, Aloe Vera gel or cream... Everything. And nothing worked. So like you. I stumbled upon this gadget. And doing the research it immediately makes sense. Like surgery at home. And people seem to really get on with it. It's important to absolutely do your research before committing to this. Youtube has a wealth of information. So I won't go into that. Down to the skinny of it. I did my first roll on a Friday. Different sources claim the redness lasts from a couple of hours to a few days. I'm writing this on Monday, a few days later, and I still have a tinge of redness. So it depends on how quickly your skin heals really. Everybody's different. But I'm taking it as a good sign, I guess that means it's working. I think I'm seeing results. I don't want to get my hopes up. But when I run my fingers across my face, it doesn't feel as... Bumpy..? As before..? If that makes sense. My skin is peeling too, so that means it's healing itself which also must be good. I'm using a combination of after sun and Bio-oil to make sure I'm moisturised. My skin just totally soaks it in which is good. Give it a try. I mean it's pretty much the budget version of getting the surgery, most of you like me just can't afford. Just be patient with the results. I think it's working for me but I'll try get an update in here in the later weeks.

It's a nice little gadget
It's a nice little gadget. This is a strange device; definitely helps to exfoliate the skin but you have to do it in the evening before going to bed as the skin gets a bit reddish. I guess you have the special cream with it, which I did not buy; worth a try though.

Not sure about this yet - oh dear Im editing this review
This is an initial review on this product which I will update in the future. Firstly it arrived well packaged and sealed. I read the box which says 'follow the instruction leaflet - NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. So I have been online to see how to use it. I became quite cowardly about using it on my face after watching online and decided to try it on my hands as I assume it works there as well. Well it is quite painful. Also one online instruction said wait about 6 weeks between treatments - think it was the Jeremy Kyle YouTube thing, presumably to give the skin time to repair and the puncture to work their magic. Other sites say use it several times a week, Some draw blood, some say it should never draw blood. One person apparently had a change in her hands skin in a week. Ill wait and see. So all in all I will wait to see if there is any effect on my hands in the next week or so. I will also see if I can be brave and try it on my face, then come back to review the effects of that. 6th March - Well I am totally disappointed in this. Ive used it on my hands and apart from being a bit painfull when you use it the only difference I can see is more little brown marks where the skin is 'supposed' to repair itself. Watching this on the internet I thought the idea was that the skin improves as it repairs the little pin pricks from the roller. I havent found this to be the case at all. I would not try it on my face. I'd return it if I could. If you are considering this then try it at a salon first before buying this sort of thing yourself.
