Spigen Rugged Armor Case Compatible with Sony Xperia XZ Premium - Black

I can't fault this protection phone case and its even better than I expected from initial use. It makes the phone a better phone is surprising ways.1. The case has a lovely grip feel, so I will never worry about it slipping from my hands again.2. The case has a surprisingly classy look with lovely texture and striped metal segmented top and bottom bezels on the back. I personally prefer this look than the actual phone itself.3. And of course the main feature and whole point of the case is to provide some degree of protection. The tough rubbery material feels re-assuring in its role as my phone protector. Only time will tell if its promise holds up....and I will update this review over time as I try to do with most of my reviews.Other things I love:The first thing I tested was fingerprint screen unlock, something that is hardly mentioned in other reviews. Happy to say, it works perfectly. I guess that is thanks to the XZ Premium's positioning of the scanner on the power button itself. but there was a worry that the case cut out might have too much overlap to prevent a full fingerprint reading but it absolutely fine.Pictures taken with camera shows no obstruction, and all buttons accessible. Only thing that is covered up is the micro SD and Sim card slot...which is fine with me. The USB C socket cut out enables the USB plug to insert nicely with that re-assuring click fit.That's about it, really. A wonderful case, best I ever had so far. I am still yet to get a screen protector which is due a in a few days. According to other reviews, there should be no problem but I will update this review anyway.

This case ticks all the boxes. It looks good, feels good and wraps around the phone. The material that it is made from is smooth to the touch but also grippy enough to keep the phone in your hand. There is plenty of space around the ports so headphones and chunky USBs insert with ease all the while the case remains flush to the phone so no debris getting in. The buttons feel great and no need to really press them in. In my opinion it's like pressing the buttons with no case on. Compared to my last case where I was in fear of pushing the buttons through my phone. It doesn't interfere with camera or flash, which is a bit of a problem with other cases. The finish looks great with subtle carbon fibre tones at the top and bottom on the rear of the case. Life gets thrown at my phone and usually cases take the brunt of it. This one still doesn't have a mark on it. Made of good quality material. All in all, a good case strong, sturdy with a nice finish and very practical. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to protect their phone and also have a good looking case. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Ordered for new Xperia xz premium. Picture not clear so I thought I was ordering a case with front and back cover this is only a back cover. However, the material is excellent and the phone fits snuggly into it without any bulk. Makes the new slippery phone now easier to hold and when on a surface it stops put. Two phone buttons accessible through external buttons on the case itself, the on/off button area is open so you can use the finger-sensor. Clear access to charging and headphone sockets. As front of phone is exposed I have purchased [3 Pack] Newzerol for Sony Xperia XZ Premium Screen Protector (5.5 inch) [Full Coverage] Tempered Glass Anti-scratch Bubble-free Protective Film which fits perfectly in the exposed area. nb: protector does not go under case edges.Happy with my purchase; having having realised no front cover is not an issue. With the phone being a 5.5 screen a front cover would most certainly have made it bulky and difficult for someone to hold if the phone had a full case and a small hand.

I'm a big fan of Spigen products, having owned several of their cases and screen protectors over the years.I always take the opportunity to reccomend their products to family and friends, and when my uncle received Sony Xperia XZ Premium. After he started to have compatibly issues with his dash mount and his traditional case of choice (a faux leather flip case), I asked him to trust me and go for a single shell/bumper design. Great case! Very happy with the Spigen rubber armour case for Sony Xperia XZ premium.Fits very well and also not difficult to insert phone in the first place.Been using for 5 days now and entirely satisfied. The majority of the surface is smooth but also easy to grip.Corners suggest decent protection if dropped, not seemingly cushioned but will work for a moderate drop I'd like to think.The only thing I can put in the negative column is the added weight to the (not very light) phone, you can feel a difference with it on but that's because it's got a reassuring heft to it, which is its essential IMHO for a very slippery phone.There is the perfect amount of lip on the front for me to leave off a screen protector and still be able to put face down with confidence.I recommend this case entirely and think it's very good value for £9.
