Cool
I was surprised it was a novel but my bad for not looking into it, I enjoyed the book a lot and there's even a poster inside!

A good collection of short stories (NOT A MANGA)
Firstly to everyone giving one stars because they were stupid enough not to check if what they were buying was manga or not your part of what’s wrong with society. On to the review. This is non spoiler so I’ll just say it’s a fun collection of short stories centered around teams of devil hunters from the main series. The stories aren’t that long but act as good extra content to further flesh out characters we wanted more information about. This is not written by fujimoto but from everything I know it has his approval and unless the main manga conflicts with it at some point it can be taken as canon. It’s a good read for anyone who wants more of the world to explore.

Last chapter destroyed me.
Such an amazing book, only amplified since I'm a fan of CSM. Recommend reading up to Volumes 1-11 before starting this, since the stories are all over and consist of different characters.First chapter was really fun too, Power is literally the best man. Anyway this is really worth the money and well-written, give it a buy.

An important part of my collection
I have this Novel as part of my Chainsaw Man collection and despite it NOT being a Manga but instead a Novel, it is nice to see that the art on the front still fits in with the themeing of the other mangas, allowing me to include it in the row seemlessly. If you're thinking about getting into Chainsaw Man for the first time, I would recommend starting with the mangas, and if you like how the mangas have progressed, pick up this novel to get some extra side stories for the characters in the Chainsaw Man universe. If I had to put this into a "specific placement" in the manga, I would say wait until you finish Part 1 (Chapters 1 - 97 / Volumes 1 - 11) of the Manga just so you don't spoil any major twists that occur in part 1.

Great read!
I see a lot a reviews complaining its not a manga, but I find that reading it it was able to paint a fluid picture of the renowned characters. Each short story had a good insight into each character's personalities and I felt remained true to the source material. I think that Sakaku Hishikawa did a fantastic job of portraying each character and breathing more life into the universe! So please don't let the novel format scare you off from a great read! :)

Excellent.
Disclaimer: I knew this wasn't a Manga. I'm a fan of the Manga though so thought it would be interesting to see what the author wrote and why they wrote it - you don't go outside your medium without a reason, usually. The depth of the stories and the extra background it shared have actually improved my appreciation of the Manga... which I already would have given a 10/10. So if you can tolerate a lack of pictures and enjoy Chainsaw Man, you absolutely should read this book.
