Premium body wash with some problems
In what is becoming an increasingly crowded marketplace for men's artisinal body washes, your product must be good to stand out. Gentlemen's Reserve is redolent of Brickell's: brown plastic container, similar cover art, stock masculine mint smell. They both charge about the same price for 16oz portion of their body wash ($28 for GR; $30 for Brickell). They both leave a crisp, refreshing feel after use. Unfortunately, GR falls a bit short in seemingly small but important ways.First, the consistency of the wash is runnier than other luxury gel-based washes. This alone isn't bad until you open it up to use. Instead of needing to squeeze the bottle to apply contents to your loofah or sponge, the gel just pours out as soon as you open the cap. This has lead to product waste, which is especially annoying considering the price tag. This isn't $5 Old Spice body wash; you're paying approximately $1.75/oz here. Second, it doesn't offer a rich lather. Although it spreads around the body easily (due to being runny), it's also so thin that you need to pour a lot on and scrub vigorously in order to get much of a lather. There are some strong points here. The smell may be relatively generic for men's luxury grooming, but it is appealing nonetheless (sandalwood is a fairly ubiquitous candle scent, but it doesn't mean it isn't almost always good!). Although it's a chore to work the gel into a lather, it does leave a tingly, cool feel on the surface of the skin after use. I also found that the scent tends to hold up for about six hours or so. I'm also glad to see more washes that don't utilize sulfates, silicones or alcohol. It seems to be relatively natural. You could do a lot worse, but the waste and lather-difficulty here make me want to stick with some of the other, similarly priced washes.

Great quality - terrible fit and design
I bought the truck version for the backseat of my 2016 F150 Lariat extended cab. It was easy to install but the headrest loops at the smallest were far to large. Had it tightened all the way it may have worked. There are no seat backs high enough to make this work. As a result it sagged down a lot behind the front seats. I tried to live with this a few times but found that it caused the center to sag down and not restrict my dog at all. It didn't create the bowl like situation I expected to keep my dog comfortable and secure.

Going back to Brickell
Initially I didn’t like it, but wanted to give it a fair chance. I bought this to save a few dollars versus buying Brickell.I’ve almost consumed the entire bottle and have found that it doesn’t lather as well as I would like nor does the tap put out much as I would like resulting in a lot of pumps each use. I try not to use very much and at first thought that the smaller tap would make the bottle last longer; however, with the suds level I don’t feel that is the case.As far as the chemistry and ingredients, I’m not sure how to measure the long term effect on my health. I do value that and hope paying extra for these “less chemical” products will decrease issues later.Overall I’m switching back to Brickell as the cost difference is worth it to me. If GR was half the cost I would consider buying again.

Lather down and happiness up
Would love to add a picture in use but I think Amazon may block that so instead I will try my best to describe the feeling of this body wash. Lathering this gel on makes my skin feel like a baby. The lather is what I imaging it feels like watching your son win the Superbowl. Until I purchased this I didn't know what I was missing.

Great body and face wash.
I’ve re-ordered this for the 4th time for a reason. I love it! it lathers well, keeps me clean without drying my skin.Other chemical filled body washes make you smell clean, this keeps you from smelling. They have made a great product.FYI I have paid full price and will continue to.

Average product
I had very high expectations of this product after seeing so many great reviews. I was frankly disappointed with it though. For the price point, it is less than an average product. It may be made of all natural ingredients, but after use, I am left with a very mild mint fragrance, but also a not so pleasant coconut oil smell. After just two days of use, I have switched back to my regular Irish Spring.Alas!

Best Soap for Men
Smells very good, and feels like it’s nourishing the skin instead of drying it out, but still feel very clean. 16 oz. bottle lasts me about a month, so not the cheapest option, but well worth it, especially for an all natural option. I won’t use anything else now.
