McCaughan has done it again. This novel, a continuation of Legacy (or a stand-alone book), entangles historical fact with a zippy who-done-it story line--with a few ghosts thrown in to tantalize readers. Lives intertwine, building up to a delicious conclusion to a murder in middle America. Definitely a novel to add to the read list!
