Can i use the Blackstone stainless steel spatulas & chopper scraper & not scratch the surface?

Yes you can you can even use a knife and cut directly on the surface. Our tops are made of cold rolled steel

How do you season the griddle?

I use flaxseed oil. Do it at least three times to start then maintain it after each use. I recommend you YouTube it if you're confused. YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE YOU USE YOUR GRIDDLE.

Considering the 22" Blackstone Griddle. What is in the box...???

Mine came equipped with the base a grill top and a fitting for a small canister. Mine was a 17 inch can't say what a 22 would have.

Do you recommend getting the hard cover?

Not sure. I don’t have one on my griddle and not planing on getting one either. I cook uncovered anyway and for storage I use the soft cover.
