Good deal.
I priced this out online and came up at least a Jackson less than I could find it elsewhere or by putting it together myself. Snapped right on.The only issue I had is that the one pic rail detent that snaps into your lower rail is toward the front portion of the rail adapter (at about the front 1/3rd pt of the adapter length). It caused me to have to move my factory LWRC-DI hand stop from where I had comfortably set it up and to move it back one slot on the rail to make room so it would have a rail slot to latch on to. As a result the gap between the AFG and hand stop piece are a slight bit tighter than I'd like, but I usually shoot from a bench (no practical tactical stuff right now), so I am not using it much anyway. If you use a similar AFG and hand-stop with a reverse handguard grip (thumb on bottom and fingers on top of the handguard), it is a non-issue. Otherwise, it works perfectly. Perhaps a different company's pic rail adapter part would take up a slight bit less space, especially if you just barely have enough room at the front bottom rail.Another note: This is not a QD side clamp mount to attach to the pic rail. You can't simply insert it on to your pic rail from a middle-of-the-rail position, in a perpendicular direction toward the handguard like a typical QD lever mount would be able to. The entire length of the rail adapter needs to be slid on to your pic rail from the front of the rail until you hit the detent inside the adapter, then press in on a spring loaded pin/plunger on the side of the adapter to retract the detent. Slide it on past the retracted detent piece, then let go of the spring loaded pin/plunger to lock in place (The first pic in this item's ad shows the round, in-the-white push button detent release close to the front sling swivel. The second picture in the ad shows the view down inside of the adapter with the push-button on the lower part of the pic and the in-the-white detent at the top of the adapter, to give you an idea of how it must be pressed in then slid on). This means you can't insert it in the middle of a pic rail if you already have something at the front of the rail. I didn't have this problem myself, as I don't have anything else attached to my lower rail other than the LWRC AFG and hand stop. As another reviewer said, this push-button system is super-fast one-handed on/off versus even a QD or clamp/screw-on attachment. Just be aware it must be slid on from the front. That's it.I also put a Seekins pic rail adapter on my 700 5R (drop in), as well as another Caldwell pic rail adapter on to my CZ 452 (also pretty much drop-in) so I could move it around in between many of my other rifles for bench use.

HARRIS BIPOD REVIEW
I bought this Harris bipod for my Ruger Precision rifle chambered in 308 Winchester and I am very happy with this purchase. I love the adjustability of this bipod and it is very sturdy. I really like the quick disconnect feature which allows me to remove this bipod from my mounting rail with press of a button it slides right off and goes back on just as easy.

Terrific Bipod!
Wow, what a great addition to my AR-15 DMR. This Harris Bipod is extremely well-built, it operates smoothly, and its design is flawless. It's more expensive than some others, but well worth the price, IMO. And it looks great!
