My favorite brand of phone case. Hope Amazon keeps them in stock! Holds up well with dropping the phone accidentally and it’s the only one I can find with the grips on the back. Not too bulky or too slippery

I don't often write reviews, so when I do, you will know I'm truly impressed! I'm on my 3rd Iphone -- my latest version IphonePro 14 -- Each of these phones have been dropped more times than I can remember -- several times facedown on concrete without any damage. Speck Presidio Grip cases have a grip hold which I need because I have neuropathy in my hands which helps me hold it much tighter than a smooth surface case. Each time I've dropped it, I thought for sure my expensive phone was toast. My prior 2 phones survived many falls with no damage which I am so grateful for. Last week, I dropped my phone on concrete and it hit on the corner. It cracked one of the corners, but before I could order a new one, I once again could not hang on to it and it went down landing on the same corner, knocking off a chunk of plastic. Speck advertises these cases as an airbag for your phone and they are spot on. As you will see in the photos, a piece of the outer shell broke off, but the interior does not show any damage which saved my expensive phone. These cases might be more expensive than others, but a ruined Iphone is much more!

Feels nice and sturdy in the hand, compared to other phone cases I have bought. I like the ridges on the back and sides for grip. I have used the case for a few months and it has already survived some drops onto hard surfaces- tile, concrete. This case is kind of tough to remove because it is all one piece, but I don’t really care about that, personally.

This is a nice case, It's not quite what I thought it was going to be but I really like it and it immediately replaced the case I was using. It fits my phone perfectly, seems very sturdy and the corners (which are one of the main causes of screens getting broken when you accidentally drop the phone) seems to be very protective of the phones corners. The frame of the case actually sticks up a small amount all the way around the phone which should help protect the screen if dropped. I like that and hope it never comes into play. My only problem with this case is it is not sticky enough for my desires, it still will slide around with ease on my counter tops but it doesn't take off and just move on its own if laid on a surface that is not level. I wish that it was made of a more sticky component rubber that really keeps it put when you lay it down. I will move around with ease if pushed or bumped. Give this phone a try if you want better than average protection and oh yes, it is not all that expensive either. I think you will really like this case. Try it!!

Schon seit einigen iPhone-Generationen nutze ich die Presidio Grip Hüllen von Speck. Über das Aussehen lässt sich sicher streiten. Bei mir steht die Schutzfunktion jedoch im Vordergrund. Sie sind durch die Rippenstruktur wunderbar griffig und schützen das Smartphone extrem gut. Im Laufe der Jahre haben sie mir nicht nur mit Sicherheit bei einer Handvoll Smartphone-Stürze das Gerät gerettet. Sie haben die Spartphones auch rundum vor ärgerlichen Kratzern geschützt. Nach meinem iPhone 6s, 7, X, XS und 12 Pro musste also auch für das iPhone 14 Pro eine Presidio Grip Hüller her. Die Presidio2 Grip Hülle für das iPhone 14 Pro besteht aus wenig flexiblem, robsten Kunststoff mit einer leicht gummierten Oberfläche. Der Kunststoff ist "aus einem Guss" - abgesehen von kleinen Elementen an den vier Gehäuseecken und den Drücker-Abdeckungen. Die nach außen ragenden "Rippen", die fürden Grip sorgen, gibt es jedoch nur noch an den Seiten der Hülle. Auf der Rückseite sind die Rippen nun "negativ", also als Einkerbungen in das Case gefräst. Das macht die Hülle im direkten Vergleich zur Hülle für das iPhone 12 Pro leider deutlich weniger griffig. Auf meinen vergleichenden Rezensionsbildern befindet sich jeweils links die iPhone 14 Pro Version und rechts die iPhone 12 Pro Version. Durch die relativ hohen Rand an der Vorderseite und den leider nach unten abflachenden Rand um das Linsenelement, sollen Bildschirm und Kameralinsen beim alltäglichen Gebrauch vor dem Kontakt mit Oberflächen geschützt wedren. Beim Hinlegen mit dem Bildschirm nach oben verbleibt aber leider konstruktionsbedingt nur noch ein mini-winzig-klitzekleines Viertelmillimeterchen zwischen der Ablagefläche und dem Rand der untersten Linse. Auch diesbezüglich war man bei der vorletzten Generation der Hülle für das iPhone 12 Pro mit locker 2 mm Abstand deutlich auf der sichereren Seite. Ein Ablegen mit dem Bildschirm nach unten ist zum Glück auch mit dem neuen Case noch mit gutem Gefühl möglich. Die Bedienung der Seitentasten funktioniert (wie bei früheren Versionen) mit der Hülle tadellos. Die MagSafe-Funktionalität nutze ich (noch) nicht. Daher kann ich mir über diesen Aspekt der Hülle kein Urteil erlauben. Fazit: Die Speck Presidio2 Grip MagSafe Hülle ist ein Top-Spartphonecase, aber wenn man die alten Versionen (oder sogar gar die ganz alten) kennt und mag, dürfte man etwas enttäuscht werden. Aber trotz der Verschlimmbesserungen der Speck Presidio Grip Hüllen im Laufe der Jahre, gehören sie für mich nach wie vor zu den besten Hüllen, um hochwertige Spartphones vor Alltagsunfällen zu schützen. Bei dem mehr als "sportlichen" Preis der Speck Presidio2 Grip MagSafe Hülle, würde ich allerdings immer Preise vergleichen und dann zuschlagen, wenn man ein Angebot unter 30 Euro herum bekommt.

Speck cases are normally good and the Presidio grip cases were excellent in the past. So, why this case does not belong to the league? Two reasons: 1) the rubberised grooves at the back are inwards (not protruding outwards), which makes the grip slippery as compared to past models, 2) camera lens are protected only by 3 lips, bottom lip is missing - this is a problem for fitting lens cover because the bottom lens cover takes all the pressure when I keep the phone down, eventually one lens cover came out. Positives: The Speck Presidio case is well made and provides adequate protection. Even with the grooves inward, the grip is much better as compared to an average plain case. No fingerprints and great drop protection. Way to go: Please bring back the outward grooves for better grip and provide a lens cover that is attached to the case. Once included, this will be a 5-star product (once again).

This Speck case is amazing! I was looking for a standout case that was also premium, and this one definitely exceeds those expectations. Here are a few reasons why: • Bold design: This one is different from others, that is for sure • Very grippy: I find the case very grippy, which is very pleasant to hold. • Clicky buttons: The buttons on the case are clicky, which is more satisfying than pressing buttons without a case. • Very strong magnets: The magnets on the case are very strong, but you need to know where they are because it can be harder to pick up sometimes. But once they are, those are the strongest magnets I have ever had yet. • Nice price: Considering other brands like Dbrand and Mous, the price of this case on Amazon is very reasonable. If I switch to a new phone, I’ll definitely get one of these cases. I highly recommend trying it out!
