great microphone, very clear audio and easy to set up, overall this was money spent well

Always trusted HyperX and that continues here. Beautiful build quality, perfect size for a starter mic making value for money also top notch. Plug and play and a few adjustments in Inguinety software make it simple and not to overcomplicated to setup fully. Looks great and professional with a great rgb bright light which can be dimmed and turned off or changed color if required. Can't go wrong, recommend to buy for beginners or someone looking for something simple but effective.

Bought this as my main comms mic and also for streaming. Recently bought headphones rather than headset, so thought I'd try a proper mic rather than a small headset mic. Was initially disappointed, until I realised the mic sensor is at the front...I was using it backwards lol. Even then though, struggled to get the levels right using the desk stand included.... switched to a gooseneck boom arm which i could then position closer to my mouth.... now it's great. People on my discord have said how much clearer I sound, and I can hear how much better it is than my old gaming headset on the test recordings ive done with the streaming software. Also great not having to keep moving my mic out the way when I want to drink, or repositioning it closer to my mouth like I had to with the gaming headset.... now it's in a good rough position and ive got the gain set well, I can sit comfy in my chair, volume is fine when I move around a bit, and I forget the mic is even there. Much easier and less hassle than a headset and the sound from my headphones is much better too. A great investment.

Bought this as a present for my sone to use for this online moments with friends, and according to him it works really well. It doesn't need to be positioned right under his nose to pick up his voice, and it gives a rich sound, with no distortion to his voice. The only issue i had with it is that one of the very think flexible vibration arms that holds it in place was snapped on delivery, but my sone refused ot let me send it back as he found that the damage made no difference to its capability and he was desperate for a working microphone. All in all, a very worthwhile purchase, just be careful handling the packaging as it seems susceptible to damage.

Audio and settings wise the mic itself has no real flaws that I can think of however the mics shock-mount that comes with it has snapped near the back where it mounts to the stand or an arm, didn’t look through google to find this out before hand but after the fact I found out many others have had this exact same issue, seems to be a common fault and sadly they all seem to get the same response from HyperX that they don’t sell the mount separately…

I speak really close into the microphone and the sound is extremely low. I cannot turn up the microphone volume much, so I am basically stuck with the option of returning this product. Very bad value for the money I paid!

Ho acquistato questo microfono per completare il mio ecosistema HyperX. Lo utilizzo principalmente per parlare con amici e per qualche sporadica live streaming, e devo dire che funziona alla perfezione: la mia voce risulta chiara e pulita. In confezione si trova un supporto per posizionarlo sulla scrivania e un cavo USB-C da 2 metri. Io l’ho installato su un braccio per microfono e, grazie allo shock mount integrato, le vibrazioni vengono assorbite in modo eccellente: anche toccando accidentalmente l’asta, non si percepiscono rumori fastidiosi. Molto comoda la funzione mute: basta un leggero tocco sulla parte superiore per disattivare il microfono, e i LED si spengono per indicare chiaramente lo stato. L’anello RGB offre diversi effetti e colori personalizzabili; essendo addressable, consente anche animazioni multicolore contemporanee. Sul retro si trova una manopola ruotabile e cliccabile: ruotandola, si regola il gain (con i LED che mostrano visivamente il livello impostato); premendola, si passa tra le due modalità disponibili: -Cardioide, che cattura solo la voce frontale; -Omnidirezionale, che registra a 360 gradi. Anche in questo caso, i LED indicano chiaramente la modalità in uso (solo frontale o anello completo). Tutte queste funzioni sono gestibili anche tramite software, che al momento risulta ancora un po’ acerbo, ma HyperX ha annunciato una nuova versione in arrivo entro fine anno, con più effetti RGB e opzioni di personalizzazione. Speriamo mantengano la promessa! In sintesi: microfono eccellente, con ottima qualità audio, design curato e tante funzioni utili. Perfetto sia per chi cerca un setup gaming completo HyperX, sia per chi vuole un microfono plug-and-play di livello alto.

Honestly, the HyperX DuoCast really hits a sweet spot. It's a fantastic middle ground between their entry-level SoloCast and the feature-heavy QuadCast. If you're getting into streaming or podcasting, I think it's a perfect fit. The best thing about it is the sound quality. It captures audio at a high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz, which makes your voice sound incredibly crisp and clear—even better than some pricier mics. The design is clean and simple, and it comes with a shock mount, which is great for preventing desk bumps from ruining your recording. Plus, the tap-to-mute button on top is super convenient. It's not perfect, of course. It's pretty sensitive, so you'll want to use it in a quiet space to avoid picking up a lot of background noise. The built-in pop filter is okay, but a separate one would be better for handling those harsh "p" sounds. Also, a heads-up for Mac users: the NGENUITY software for customizing the lighting only works on Windows. Bottom line: If you want excellent, plug-and-play audio quality without spending a ton, the DuoCast is a brilliant choice. It gets all the important stuff right and is a solid, reliable mic for any creator.
