Can this product be used in diy lip balm?

Yes it will add spf protection.

Would this be ok to use if you’re going to be exposed to the sun? I mean it won’t darken the spots or create new ones?

Yes, it would be ok to use when you expose to the sun. It won't harm anything. It may help you protect your skin because carrot seed oil have natural spf 38 - 40. But I would not recommend using as a sunscreen.

Does this oil works for hair growth and stronger? how many days it took to see the results?

Yes this oils is very rich so a little goes a long way. It also provides an amazing shine on hair. Do not over do it as it does have a strong smell which is normal for carrot seed oil. Also very good on the skin. Consistency is most. Remember you are retraining your hair so you need to give your hair time to respond to the newly introduced ingredients. I would do a 5 month check
