I absolutely fell in love with this when I saw it online, but as i do everything I read ALL the reviews and i almost let it deter me from buying it. The horror stories were the same over and over about how difficult it was to put together, holes missing, needing extra tools etc. A nightmare! But instead of being deterred it prepared me for battle! Because I really wanted it I went in with the mindset that this is going to be difficult, there may be some incorrect holes or missing hardware or I may need a tool I dont have and cant finish today..whatever. so I went in calm, patient and EXPECTING problems , so if they did occur i wouldn't flip out. BUT, the instructions were clear, all the parts were there, even a bag labeled 'extra hardware' was in the box. The holes were in the right place and the packaging was the best I had ever seen in my life! This thing was so well packaged there was absolutely no way it could get damaged in shipping. UPS could have thrown it across the yard and it still would have come out without a scratch. When I tell you I was impressed! I'm a single woman, and it took me about 4 hrs to get this together. With help it would have probably been half the time. It's pretty heavy, with alot of parts to screw on and I was really taking my time and reading all the instructions very carefully to avoid any mistakes or redo's and to stay patient..again expecting the worst. But it wasnt bad at all. The only real issue I had was the cam screws wouldn't go in the bottom shelf no matter how much muscle I put in so after about 40 mins I gave up and hammered them in. Which accounted for alot of the unnecessary time. They screwed fine everywhere else. This thing is BEAUTIFUL!! It's a eye catching dark red that looks amazing with my espresso kitchen table and counters. So, so, so glad I bought this and that all of the reviews gave me the mentality to tackle this without frustration. This same piece is sold on different websites for $100 more!

It says installation was 2 hours and it took about 4 and once I finally got the damn doors on I realized the magnet strips that keep the doors closed were missing and the handles screws aren’t long enough to catch on the handle so I had to order those parts. If it didn’t take me so long to put together I would have returned it haha but I didn’t waste all that time for nothing. But it is pretty and fits perfectly where I wanted it

I saw some people wrote holes did not line up, but it was perfect. When you put one of these together you can’t tighten everything all the way, you have to shift things a bit. Yes, it was time consuming but totally worth it for the price. It’s sturdy and perfect for what I wanted. I love it!!! I think for the price it exceeded my expectations. Everyone that has seen it absolutely loves it.

I was able to assemble this by myself, even though it said it was a two person job.The quality is pretty impressive. The only thing that isn't really high quality is the backing. It's thin board that nails to the back. I was fine with this because I planned on putting a large speaker in the left side. I was able to cut the board to fit the speaker in there perfectly.The color wasn't exactly the red I was expecting but it is a beautiful color nonetheless. I get lots of compliments on the piece! They never believe me when I say it was an Amazon find!

I was skeptical and still am but it does serve the purpose for which I bought it. I have used it for my extra plates and only four bottles of wine. I am happy with it, not difficult to assemble but I will advise that you should use wood glue to help the assembly. The complaint that I have is that the magnetic closure for the doors to not really work but I am okay with that, the doors stay in place and have not swung open once closed. I only wish it was a bit taller. You get what you pay for, it's not heavy to move but again it depends what you use it for.

I was skeptical about keeping this piece after reading all its negative reviews, but as it turns out for me, this item was fearly easy to put together. Minor things like drilling holes to the cabinet and the directions being off, but other than that; it worked out beautifully.

Please, please, PLEASE ignore the bad reviews. Husband and wife duo got it unpacked and assembled within one hour and 20 minutes. Very straightforward instructions. Very easy to put together as long as you take your time and read the instructions before proceeding/executing on to the next step.The cabinet is very attractive but not overstated. So glad I made this purchase. I think you will too.

This came with the duplicate pieces for the sides so I could not put it together. There were also several damaged pieces. I contacted the company to send me the right pieces and still no reply. I am not paying for shipping to send it back because it’s heavy. Please don’t waste your time the company has no customer service so you will be stuck with whatever they send you.
