need to hang or hold stuff in your car without the danger of poking someone in the eye???
The media could not be loaded. When I pick up a milk or a take out food from local store/restaurant, I want to leave the shopping bag inside the car during the short drive back home rather than in a trunk but they end up rolling around on the car seat or floor during the drive and I have to reach in and lean over to pick them up. That's when a hook hanger off the headrest comes in handy so you can hang the shopping bag on this hook behind the driver's seat and you can easily take them out once you reach the destination.I initially purchased a metal hooks which worked pretty well (see picture) until my daughter who was sitting behind the driver's seat poked her eye on it during an abrupt stop. As you can see from the picture, the metal hook didn't provide a way to "tuck it in" while not in use, which created a hazardous condition for someone seating in front of the metal hook, as you can imagine....That's why this headrest hook is so awesome because you can easily rotate them to "tuck it away" when not in use!THE BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars! This is a must have for any car owner who has a need to hang stuff behind the driver's seat.** TIP **Please go check your car headrest before buying this to make sure the headrest moves up and down, revealing metal bar where this hook will be mounted on. As you can see from my last picture, I couldn't use this hook on my Volvo XC90 but I was able to use on my Mazda 3 and Honda Pilot.* Hope this was useful... and if it was, please click on the helpful button below. Thank you!

Works great, easy to install.
Works very nicely. I have a Honda Pilot with leather seats. Seems like my purse or work bag always seem to end up on the floor by the end of every car ride...which means all of the contents are rolling around b/c my purse has spilled. So frustrating. I purchased another type of headrest hooks. It was a metal hook with two prongs that had rubber tips. It was terrible. The "hook" was very difficult to get the strap onto, almost every time my purse would get stuck when trying to get it off (and the rubber tips would fall off)...ended up never using them. And they rattled a lot while driving. These headrest hooks were very easy to install, they look nice and seem to be good quality. Very easy to use. My purse hasn't fallen off yet. My only complaint is that I wish the hook was a little longer. I am unable to use it forward facing due to the size of my headrest. The hook doesn't extend long enough to use. Therefore I use it rear facing, which is fine too but I'd like it better if my purse was up front with me so I can easily reach it. With it being rear facing my son has easy access to it from his car seat, which could be a problem when he realizes that he can help himself to my purse (gum, pens, money...ha).

Works great but...
I have these in my camper van, and they installed very easy. We used them the other day to hang my purse and our jackets on but here's the odd thing: when you hang something on it, the blue light will go on. The item has to be heavy enough (like my purse) but I do not want a light on inside my camper van all night long. Basically they won't get used if it's for something heavier than a lightweight jacket because of the stupid light. The light isn't strong enough to actually provide lighting, but just annoying if you're trying to sleep.

Great, quality hooks
I purchased these hooks for one reason and one reason only. My girlfriend has very expensive taste in handbags and she hates to put them on my cars floor, and has a tendency to sit her bag on my center console. That's my arms resting place and it's always an issue between us. So the hooks have saved many unnecessary heated discussions about where she could place her coach bag. The hooks are sturdy and the right size. They don't stick out at all so no one gets hooked on it entering or exiting the car, so they can be left in the car at all times. I never take mine out, and the best thing about them, and unlike a lot of the competition is that they lock into place so there is no chance of them coming off. Overall a strong hook, locks into place, and the perfect size so they do not get in the way or snag the clothes of anyone entering and exiting the car.

Love the idea of these - they work pretty well
I love the idea of hanging a handbag off the seat rest so it doesn't slide around on the seat itself. Super easy to install. Just wish the collar that secures it in place didn't move around so much. If you swivel the hook from the back of the seat to the front, the collar moves and then the hook pops off the headrest. After about 4 months of use, part of the plastic that supports the underside of the hook broke, which again makes the hook less stable on the headrest, but it's still useable.

"Just OK" but not sure the LED light was worth the extra $
These are "just ok". You have to keep your headrest up a good bit for these to sit in place. The photos don't allow you to realize just how high the headrest has to be in order for these to install & stay (aka, several notches, in my case). Plus, they can be tough to install. One of my vehicles has headrest poles that are too large for these to wrap around. Also, I bought these with the LED light but haven't seen much benefit from the light. Guess I thought the LED light wb brighter than it is. Not sure that was worth the bit extra I paid to have the ones with the light. Overall, I prefer the hanging hooks over these. I found the hanging hooks easier to install and more forgiving with lowering the headrest to a reasonable level. I like that these "close" around the headrest pole, which the hanging ones don't close, but I haven't had the hanging ones fall off, either. Don't get me wrong - I'm keeping these, although I confess I'm gonna pass them on to my kids' cars.

Highly reccomended. Measure your bag straps first if you have a wider strap.
These little hooks are great! I bought them to solve the problem of having to toss my bag in the back seat when I had a passenger with me. They install really fast and easy. They lock on without issue and grip tight with what looks like green silicone. You can rotate them to the front, middle or back too if they are in the way which is nice. The reason I have given them 4 stars is that the hook depth is a bit shallow for some of the wider handles on my bags. This causes them to slip off on occasion if taking a sharp turn or going over a speed bump etc. Other than that they are great!
