Internet connection speeds and availability depend on your internet service provider. If your internet service provider does not provide you with the maximum supported speed, you will not experience that maximum speed. Maximum network speeds, if applicable, reflect combined supported speeds across wired and wireless clients. Maximum wireless signal rates are derived from IEEE 802.11 standard. Specifications assume wired Ethernet connection; your experienced speed may vary when connected to an eero device that is configured as a wireless extender. Coverage estimates are based on normal use conditions. Actual range and performance can vary and maximum supported speeds may not be available to all customers due to factors such as local regulations (including power limits), network configuration, interference, connected devices, device usage, building materials and obstructions. Specifications are based on use of a Wi-Fi 6 or later generation client device that supports 160 MHz. For more information about eero performance, visit support.eero.com. Combining eero 6+ devices with older generation eero devices on the same network may result in reduced performance across the network. |

Amazing Speed and Coverage – Perfect for My Flat!
I purchased 2 Amazon eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi routers about a year ago now - to mesh my network throughout the flat, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. The setup was incredibly easy, and within minutes, my entire home was covered with fast and reliable Wi-Fi. The blistering speeds are a major upgrade compared to my previous router, and I’m consistently getting speeds close to the advertised 1.0 Gbps Ethernet. The coverage is fantastic, reaching every corner of my flat without any dead spots, even in rooms far from the router. I can easily connect 75+ devices without any performance issues, which is perfect for my smart home setup, laptops, phones, and more. The release of this router has certainly lived up to its promises, offering excellent value for its price. It also upgrades itself when required. Overall, the Amazon eero 6+ provides superb performance, reliability, and ease of use. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-speed Wi-Fi mesh system, I highly recommend it!

My Wi-Fi Went from Snail to Sonic Speed
My old Wi-Fi was about as reliable as a weather forecast in Britain—sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, and occasionally it just gave up altogether. Enter the Amazon eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi system, and suddenly, my house is living in the future. Setup? Stupidly easy. Even my mum, who still asks me how to “find the Google,” could probably do it. Within minutes, dead zones were gone. The upstairs bedroom? Full bars. The garden shed? Streaming Netflix. The bathroom? Let’s just say TikTok is dangerously accessible now. I’ve got a ridiculous number of devices connected (laptop, phone, smart TV, PlayStation, smart toaster—you name it), and the eero 6+ just shrugs and keeps going. No buffering, no random dropouts, just glorious, high-speed internet everywhere. If you’ve ever rage-quit your Wi-Fi and threatened to move to the woods, buy this instead. Absolute game-changer.

Easy mesh setup, average performance
I bought 2x of the 6+ to setup a mesh system at home with another Eero I already had. I replaced my main router from BT which was only Wifi5 with an Eero 6+ and then hardwired the others to form a solid mesh system around the house. Once I had my old router set to modem only mode, the rest of the setup was a breeze which is a definite strength of the Eero system. I have to admit the performance overall is a little disappointing for 2 reasons: 1. The 2x new Eero 6+ are downstairs and the older orignal Eero 5 upstairs so my son's PS5 can be hardwired in front bedroom. This provides great speeds wired but I have noticed both my laptop and my phone regualrly fail to connect to the strongest signal Eero as I move around the house. When upstairs they will insist on connecting to the downstairs Eero 6+ when the upstairs Eero has a stronger signal. Also when in the upstairs backbedrooms, the main Eero 6+ router is directly below but again laptop and phone try to connect to the slower Eero 5. Frusrating and you cannot force them to switch with the mesh setup. 2. Previously in upstairs back bedroom my older BT router which was only wifi5 would hit 500mb/s but the Eero 6+ struggles to go above 300mb/s and when incorrectly using the Eero 5 it's under 100mb/s... The Eero are faster when in the same room and will hit 900mb/s but definitely weaker strength over any kind of distance or through a ceiling. Checked all settings but that seems to be real world performance. Overall I would give: App 4/5 - Excellent but lose star unability to force a certain router to be used Setup 5/5 Stability 5/5 Performance - 5/5 wired or in wifi in same room 3/5 for wifi in another room, even with thin plasterboard walls and ceilings Value - 4/5

Works easily. Quickly and looks really neat
Connection is super easy - replicates signal all over the house. I have a router that I turned the WiFi internally off so that I could benefit from the signal being boosted using the EERO 6+ with the 3 hubs dotted around the house. Easy to setup via the app and clear instructions and guidance throughout the process. I have UltraFast broadband which used to be 850mbps in 2 rooms of the house but shockingly bad (less than 50mbps) everywhere else despite clear line of sight to other rooms. Now I have consistent 400mbps in every corner of the house so am very pleased with the EERO 6+. Named the device the same as my normal Hub and used the same password as existing during setup and that allowed all devices to rejoin the network without having to enter new details on each. Clever tip from another user - thanks.

Simple setup flawless performance
Purchased a bundle of 3 Eero 6+ whilst on offer following leaving a previous broadband supplier who had provided their own proprietary WiFi mesh equipment. As the best we can receive from other broadband suppliers is currently FTTC, we needed to ensure the entire property was receiving the best WiFi possible. These devices have largely worked flawlessly since install in February. We have four Alexa Echo's that have the Eero Built in Feature but so far none are really utilised, three 6+ devices provide sufficient cover for our home. Devices migrate between the Eero's around the house without problem and we've only had minor connectivity concerns with a very old fire tv stick that is in a built in wardrobe, so is very obscured which likely hinders the signal, shower we rarely have any issues with that device. It was an expensive purchase but the app works excellently and we have been able to achieve the full spectrum of WiFi speed our ISO provides (in our case up to 76mbps) speeds internally within the LAN itself far exceed this for internal data transfer. I'm looking forwards to when FTTP arrives and we can get back on to a full fibre connection. Only downside so far is that the more impressive data analytics are locked behind an Amazon/Eero subscription paywall which is very irritating. Overall, These are great devices, work flawlessly and without any difficulty, worth the investment if you have WiFi signal problems around the home.

6 Months Later Review
Latest Update: Support is absolutely crap, my eeros are having internet issues and they are not helping whatsoever. As a whole, the eero router does its job, giving good internet signal to areas which don't receive any, but there are some drawbacks. 1. Internet Speeds: We currently have a 500 up and 150 down internet plan. We get more than we pay for near the main eero, but when we go near a different router, it drops by half. I was hoping to get at least 400 mb upstairs, but we usually get between 200-300mb. On ethernet we usually get 300-450mb. This was disappointing, but it solved our range issue. 2. Local Area Speeds When casting to TVs or speakers, there is a high chance that it doesn't load, or it stutters. This is mainly with Chromecast. If you run a local web server or a home automation server, beware that your transfer speeds may be lower than expected. 3. Price It is worth the money if you have a signal issue, like we do, but you can find many alternatives which give better performance. Best thing to do is to get 2 £100~ routers and connect them via mesh (make sure they are the same brand). It will deliver better performance than this, but make sure you do your research. Currently, this is doing what we want it to, but we wouldn't recommend it for its price.

Super Easy Setup
I got this for £90.00 off in one of Amazon’s lightning deals. Having done a lot of research I was happy to pay full price so this made the deal even sweeter. I’ve worked in IT for over 30 years so I expected this to be pretty straight forward but it was even easier than that. Eero have clearly thought through the setup process such that anyone who can read and follow instructions could have this up and running in 20 minutes. I was a bit disappointed that none of my techy know how was needed, lol. Setup was really simple. Download the Eero app. Plug one of the Eero units into an Ethernet port (Ethernet cable is supplied) of your existing wifi router. Mine is a BT home hub. Power on the device. Follow the instructions on the app and your ‘gateway’ device is set up. Then just place the other units in strategic places around your house one by one and follow the instructions on the app. The units will even tell you if they are optimally placed. Simples! You have two choices when setting your gateway unit up. Either use the same network name and password that you currently have. Doing this will enable all your connected devices to reconnect to it when you disable your existing wifi network. The second option is to create a new network name and password and change all your devices over to that new network. This was my preferred choice. Just leave the old network running and you’ll §still have connectivity for all your devices until they have been migrated across. I now have super reliable wifi connectivity all over the house and out to the bottom of the garden - which is quite large. All my smart home tech can now speak to each other - even the smart bulb in the bar which is at the furthest end of the garden probably 15 to 20 metres from the nearest wifi point. One added bonus is that the two Echo Dot’s that I have are Eero compatible which means that they too, are helping to extend the signal. All in all, I have no complaints or issues with this product and I have found it to be 100% effective for my needs.

Easy to set up, improved range, intermittent WiFi drops
It's extremely easy to set up with it's app (no technical knowledge required). It did improve WiFi range, but WiFi keeps intermittently dropping so I had to return it.
