This is great, the mat is very good quality. It’s heat resistant so can be used as a soldering mat. The cables are good quality with adjustable wrist strap and long enough for ease of movement. At the end is a 3 pin plug with two dummy pins and one good pin that goes straight to earth. You and your projects will be safe from static

Grounded when i sleep, bracelet. Also grounded when I work on my desk, on my feet or under my keyboard.

The mat works well and is of good quality. Same for cables and a grounding plug.The material does stink for a few days, but the smell goes away then.As for heat resistance - the mat does survive a direct contact with a soldering iron's tip, without any damage - tested up to 350C. But even at 300C there is a very strong smell coming off the mat when heated.Also, flux leaves large, seemingly permanent stains - there is no obvious way to clean them.So the mat is not really suitable as a soldering base, although it will survive an occasional contact with an iron just fine.

Great little kit if you need to be working with inside your PC.
