Don't buy
I bought this about 6 months ago and I am so disappointed. You would think paying $24 for a shoe rack would make it last at least a little bit but this thing started breaking within the 1st month and has continued to go downhill. Save your money and buy a different one!

Does not stay assembled
If you value your sanity, DO NOT buy this shoe organizer. The rods are somewhat easy to put in but do not stay. I have been fighting with this shelf for 30 minutes to get all of the rods in place and stay, then it collapsed as soon as I have two rows of shoes.

Thus shoe rack has so many uses
I bought this as a ribbon rack. This was the perfect purchase for the price. It was very easy to assemble took me less than 10mins. I bought 2 and may be buying more very soon. Also love that they stack. Of course for shoes is is perfect too. Would highly recommend.

Easy Assembly
This rack was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

Very very flimsy
When trying to put together, the holes for the dowels to fit into broke with any type of force to hold them in place. I’m using for ribbon storage but there is no way it would be sturdy enough for shoes!

Good Enough
Okay, this is not the sturdiest of shoe racks out there, but it does the job and for the price I cannot complain. It holds quite a few shoes and depending on the type of shoe, there's opportunity to hold more. I would recommend loading your heavier shoes on the lower racks and lighter shoes up top.
