My husband absolutely loves it

Great for more immersion in VR. Parts are made good. Does not take long to put together. They only thing I can say as a if you play multiple games it does become a pain to take apart and put back every time you want to play the fishing VR games. Other than that it does exactly what it says it looks good feels good in the hand and you don't take the chance of knocking the controllers together. Especially with the quest to having the ring on the controller.

The way this item description was written I thought the VR fishing game for Meta Quest 2 was included, like with a digital code or something. It is not. This is just for the fishing rod accessory which is as far as I know not needed for the game. Once he has the game and likes it, if he wants this (grandson), I will get it but I returned it for now. Apparently for these actual games you have to buy them on the Meta Quest site after the player has set up an account. Just giving other boomers a heads up. This is only the plastic fishing rod lol.

I’m still trying to find out how to use this. I got it for my husband who’s can’t walk, hoping he could use this to pass the time fishing or something, but there are no instructions with it except how to put the headset on. I bought a fishing gizmo for it but I might end up using that as a doorstop. Hopeless😩

It seems like there’s some confusion in the reviews so I’ll try to clear it up as best I can. I’m using this controller accessory for RealVR Fishing on the meta quest, but I suppose this will work for any vr fishing game. This is JUST for the fishing style holder for controllers. I knew that when ordering and I’m still not too impressed with the product. I’ll also say I’m using this for the meta quest 3 so the controllers are similar but not identical.Review of the item : It’s pretty cheaply made, expect the plastic to flex and rub. The controllers also don’t line up perfect so the tracking in game looks weird. Your hand won’t match up with what’s in game and due to the radius of reel it may even cause skipping. It was easy enough to put together. Controller fits snug and doesn’t seem like it would fly out on accident. There’s also no holes for you to put the controller straps so it kinda just sits awkwardly. I was also expecting the reel to have some form of sound like a traditional rod but it doesnt. Overall it’s just okay.

It’s a gift to my grandson. I hope he enjoys it
