As the title states; this is a great light ash blonde and covers up my silver (not grey, grey is dull mine shines like silver). It doesn't have a strong odor.I've been purchasing this brand for several years and have colored my dirty blonde for 30+ years after getting tired of the sun bleach blonde it gets every summer. I know color, basically they're all the basic same ingredients then companies add there own extras such as biotin etc. This brand keeps my hair in great condition, doesn't cause breakage or overly dry hair. That being said, I also don't do my ends every time, over process etc., and I regularly condition my hair. I also maintain the color.People complain about the color fading, unfortunately colored hair no matter the color requires maintenance, its just a fact and no fault of this brand. If you want to color your hair for whatever reason; it WILL require maintenance. If you don't want the hassle don't color it! People need to have realistic expectations and understand hair color is not a one and done. Everything, everyday life affects the outcome of how long your color will last and the shade outcome.This particular shade will eventually lose its a ash color turning a bit more golden/beige blonde due to washing my hair being out in the sun etc. even using a sulfate free shampoo so I, as anyone should maintain the beautiful color with a toner for maintaining that ash blonde color.Also, be aware not only do you have to do regular maintenance you also have to be aware:1. Everyone's hair is different (same molecular structure) but different everyday factors, past treatments, environmental and personal care as well as texture. As such,2. Not everyone will get the exact shade "as seen" in the pictures. Dark hair vs. a lighter hair to start out with and your processing now and prior, computer screens displaying colors slightly different etc. Don't expect your results to be exactly the same, especially if you're not familiar with this shade and/or color processing.So, yes I highly recommend this brand, especially if you have older, grey or silver cover up needs! Just be realistic in your particular outcome and that colored hair requires maintenance and you will like this hair color brand!

I have bleached my hair for decades, but it seems to be getting harder to achieve the color I want without having to tone after. I am about a level 6.5, and this got me to a 10 with no toning needed! I followed the directions to use 40 volume developer at a 2:1 ratio for high lift and it worked! I can also get 2 applications out of 1 tube so it's a great value as well. So pleased!

The AGE beautiful Permanent Hair Color Dye - Medium Ash Brown is amazing! It removed the brassiness of my highlights, which now looks much more natural AND covered my grays. Just make sure not to leave it on too long if you still want to keep your highlights. One other thing...you'll need to buy a hair developer to mix with the dye, which luckily I happened to have a spare of.

This product covered the stubborn gray I have at the temples much better than other at home products including madison Reed. 1 box was just enough, next time I will get 2 kits and colors. I have pretty thick hair that is to the base of my neck, if you have really thick hair you probably need 2. I didnt give it 5 stars because the colors don't quite come out as light as you would think. I even went to their site to look at the colors. The dark blondes are more brown, but still a beautiful color. I highly recommend, but get a shade lighter than what you think you would pick. I'm going to try the next shade up next time. My hair was in great condition after coloring, I love that you get shampoo and conditioner with the kit. Make sure you order the kit and then go pick your color. You have to order/buy both.

I change my hair color a lot so over the years I've tried many brands and various shades. I've now been using this brand for a while so I can give some background on how it handles over time. I have always found red/copper tones to be hit or miss. This time I really wanted to find a natural but brighter copper gold tone that was not too dark and didn't pull auburn or pinky red blonde. A lot of colors I've tried just didn't produce these results or faded after the first wash to a muddy color. Honestly I was surprised how much the color resembled what's on the box and the tone is the perfect golden copper. In terms of fading, the color surprisingly holds up pretty well. I'm used to using a color conditioner for upkeep but I found I don't have to use if for some time before the color gradually starts to fade. I also forgot to mention the shine!

The product is so easy to use. It goes a long way, takes well, has no strong smell, does not burn your scalp and provides a beautiful coverage, allowing your hair's own personality to come through. In other words it is not flat and heavy, it covers without smothering.

Why sell something that you can’t use whithout the other bit! Who sells developer separate to hair color! Seriously. Talk about making life difficult ….

Nice hair dye, I previously coloured my hair red and I wanted to go back to my dark brown hair. I tried the 3nn intense darkest brown and it perfectly covered all the red in my hair, the colour turned out close to jet black .

This was the exact colour I wanted. Very happy.

No grays just blond. Thats good!🎯
