Wow! When I ordered my 2 palettes (one for full color and another for black and white), I expected to use these just for travel because of the size: I thought they were small, but now I see that because of the highly efficient qualities of holding water and keeping the paint hydrated, I don't need a larger size! These are perfect! The 7" x 9" interior is ample enough for me to paint even large canvases because the paint does not get dry!!!! As expensive as good quality paint is, keeping all of it viable is critical, And this palette absolutely does the job! I am in love with these and will absolutely be buying a couple more just to separate different color schemes.The palettes are very easy to use. Just open one up, place the absorbent mat inside, and lightly pour water onto the mat until it is saturated. I was surprised by how much water the mat holds!! Then, place a piece of the palette paper onto the mat and squeeze your paint onto the paper. The bottoms of the paint will NOT dry out, and after you close the easy-to-snap closure (yes, they are very easy to open and close ), the humidity inside the palette keeps the paint viable for a looooong time. I have had mine for over a week now, and none of the paint has dried out at all!For my acrylic paint pieces, these palettes have already become irreplaceable. I actually have some huge Masterworks covered palettes, but I will just use those for my oils from now on. These particular palettes are just perfect for my work.

This wet pallete is a game changer for painting, it keeps the paint moist for hours even days! ( just make sure you close the lid when done for the day) the material feel sturdy and it seal tight( when you remember to do so lol)Great value for hobbyists!!

The product is extremely easy to clean, the foam mat inside is awesome, but try not to let it sit and dry, it works well with all game paint, from vallejo, Army Painter and Citadel. Actually makes good glazes, however one draw back between this an a professional one is the fact it does leak and you cannot use glazes for too long, you have to be quick about it, because the water from the paper will make too watery then gets absorbed by the foam mat. I like the clear plastic cover, but it’s cheaply made. I like the fact it’s translucent so you can see the paint under it if you plan on walking away for a bit. I have to say this, comes with really good paper for wet painting. It doesn’t fall apart, it’s not too tough where it doesn’t get water and it glides well with the brush. For 10 USD you can’t makes or own or buy your own that actually matches what it can do. It’s fantastic for the price.

My wife is a big fan of the wet palette. This is the second one she owns.The design includes a case, a dense foam materials and special paper. In use you put the sponge on the bottom of the case, pour in some water and then lay the paper on top. The Palette is easy to use, and the damp sponge keeps the paper moist for a number of days. It works exactly how we expected.The palette is a little smaller than the one we have in our other home. We like the sponge and paper and the size although smaller is big enough for our small Rock painting projects. If we had to point out one negative, we wish the cover was removable. This would probably mean closure clips on all 4 sides. But this would allow you to use the palette without the floppy cover bent over and sort of in the way. Minor thing but it is a nuisance.Other than this negative, the palette works great. Its lightweight, closes easily and seals in the moisture. It's nice to work with and we're happy with what we received. Recommended

I was looking for a small paint pallet with a lid and found this product. I am so happy that I bought this product however, when I went to use it, it really was too big for my desk so I had a smaller case which was only 4 x 6 perfect size for my desk so I cut the sponge in half and I cut the paper in half. They fit perfectly in my new case and I absolutely love the idea of the case and sponge. I paint miniatures and only use very small dabs of paint which dry out quickly the smaller case keeps my paint from drying out just like the original case would have done. BTW I use the case that came with the product to hold some cutters so all in all I came out a winner in my opinion.

I've spent more on much worse wet palettes. This isn't just ideal for beginners, it's also serving me very well as a 7-year hobby vet.

It's a super cheap wet pallette that's ok but my homemade wet pallette is much better. The sponge is nice. Seems to dry faster than what I'm used to but it's solid.The paper that comes with it is not good for what I need. It seems like regular paper, where ever you put paint, that's where it stays. Making thinning the paint difficult. It's sorta like using a piece of ordinary printer paper as a pallette. Trying to make a glaze or wash on this paper, forget about it. It's disappointing because I really wanted the precut sheets😭😆

Keeps the paint wet, tons of paper included. Can’t speak to how it compares to others but this does the job for me.
