WOre for my Halloween party and I was a hit! it looked great. not the most comfortable thing to wear all day. but It was really nice

I had ordered the same costume from Amazon, but a different company. The cape quality was good, but the L/XL was HUGE. Also, the bonnet was flimsy, and not stiff like they are on T.V. I returned that, and ordered this one. I also ordered the smaller size S/M and I am not a small girl (xl-1x). It still has plenty of room. However, if you have thick arms, defiantly go with the L/XL as the sleeves are tight. Quality is great and the bonnet is PERFECT! You have to steam out the wrinkles from packaging, but the costume is spot on!! I can't wait to wear it!

Good Quality fabric and really great deep blood red color. One woman had ordered hers last year and hers was a more bright red so glad they changed the color to better fit the actual Handmaids Tale color. The bonnets were perfect, came rolled and are a good stiff material so they don't get floppy. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the long sleeves seemed to be an after thought and are not sewed all the way into the hooded robe. Overall though as far as look, quality and color, it's a win and I would recommend the product. We walked 5 miles through New York City in October and the robes flowed nicely in the wind, kept our anonymity, looked great and kept us warm!

Very well made. Fabric is great. Will need adjustments if your short. But that’s an easy fix with sewing machine or liquid hem glue. The hat was very sturdy and fit well. Plenty of yardage. Very pleased with purchase.

I’ve worn a handmaid costume before that was borrowed from a friend and it wasn’t anywhere near as good as this one. This one is made very well and they have buttons all the way down so that you can properly fasten everything down. The hat is nice and sturdy as well. It came bent from being folded in the packaging but I found a way to shape it how I wanted it. I still need to wash and iron it, but I will be posting pictures! It’s much better to spend the extra money on a good costume like this one than to order a cheap one. I’ve worn a cheap one before that drove me crazy and that I had to constantly adjust because it only had one little tie that did not hold the garment closed, and it was such a hassle having to fight with it every second! This one is much better, it’s nice and thick material and it’s very true to what the handmaids in the show wear, including the beautiful deep maroon color and the spot on hat. This is the one, go for it!

Not as it was advertised. Looks like drapes and the arm hole are terrible!

Nice quality. I ordered the Large (standard size) and could have went down to a Medium due to the length. The sides are open so there is no concerns on it fitting tight around the arms/belly. The bonnet fits great with Velcro fastener to adjust the fitting of the hat

It fits well, the fabric is thick. It has buttons all the way down so it feels like it will actually stay closed in the front. The arms are weirdly attached and it took me a minute to figure out how to get my arms in the sleeves. The sides are open and don't have any buttons to hold it closed so in the wind it will probably blow around. The hat came a little bent but shouldn't be hard to get fixed. Overall great costume

Worth buying, not cheap material at all and for the S/M, mine came labelled M and fits to size(the arms are attached to the inside of cape so wouldn’t want them any tighter)…

The L/XL is way too big. There’s no shape to it. The slit up the side is way to long. Says it comes with a bonnet, I did not receive that in my order. I look like a wish version of little red riding hood. Waste of money especially when it is missing part of the costume.
