Sturdy and works well
My wife's bike is a step through and needs a cross bar to fit onto our hitch rack. This bar is heavy, strong, sturdy, and fits the bill. The only issue I had with it is affixing the bar to the bike is somewhat awkward because the spring adjusted lengthening connector must be held at the right length while simultaneously inserting the closing pin to hold the bar in position. I am able to affix the bar properly, but it takes a bit of effort.

Well made
Just out of the box and tried it in my ebike, but not in transport yet.Spring load adjustment is tight and you have to hold the bike to keep it from moving when you are attaching the bar, so no concern about the bar falling out.It’s occurred to me that all these bars put upward pressure on the seat mount, so the seat mount is supporting more than half the weight of the bike when in transport. This is especially important to consider with a heavy ebike. Make sure that your seat is attached firmly and consider a secondary support for the rear of the bike!

Great for travel!
I was really happy with how well this did. It fit my wife’s bike perfectly and made it much easier to take her bike on trips with us. The only downside is that the pin at the front doesn’t have any sort of protection between it and the metal of the handlebars. I solved it by just tying a sock there for longer drives.

durable
The fact that the front hook is powder coated to protect the front part of my frame. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a spring to me the back end retractable. I use it for my mountain E-Bike, it weights 51 lbs, so this works perfect

Great for e-bike
I used this to transport my 60lb e-bike on a car bike rack. It worked really well and didn’t scratch the bike at all on a 4 hour drive. It could easily hold even more than that. I will continue to use it for a long time.

Good bar with one drawback
We have ebikes and because they are step thru we need a crossbar to secure them on our bake rack. For decades bikes "hung" from bike racks, but ebikes are much to heavy for that so they are "snugged down" to hold them in place, same bar can do either.This bar is heavy and feels strong, I think it would hold my ebike (Himiway cruiser) securely and it stretches far enough to go from the seat post to the handlebars as it should. It's shorter than my current bar by about 3 inches even when both are fully extended. This could be a positive or negative depending on your bikes.The only thing I didn't like was the metal pin that secures one end of the bar, it takes a tad more effort to put on and off but the real complaint is that the metal is pressing against and rubbing my handlebar stem. If I were to use this on our bikes I would need to find a way to pad the pin/bar. Keep in mind it needs to slide thru the hole at the end to go on and off.
