Excellent Pencil Sharpener That Should Cover Anyone's Needs
Excellent sharpener for an adult coloring enthusiast. I can't claim to be an expert on pencil sharpeners, though I would love to meet someone who can claim that distinction, but this sharpener is much better than cheaper ones I've bought on Amazon. It also has a cool design that seems pointlessly ergonomic, but I'm sure some Engineering grad student who is still ABD can proudly claim this design on his CV. This really is a great sharpener with two holes that cover the spectrum of pencil sizes, though I should probably qualify that statement with an acknowledgement of my lack of expertise to have made that statement. I can say with full certainty that it is still sharp after more use than I'm willing to admit in public or at a dinner party.

Excellent sharpener when used properly. Sticky label unpleasant.
I'm particular about pencil sharpening, as pencils are my favorite writing tool. Once I learned to firmly press the pencil into the sharpener I obtained a perfect point. I had avoided pressing the pencil in because past experience told me this would break the point - not so with this sharpener.So I ordered two more so I can have them all around the house. But the last ones arrived with a sticky label on them that doesn't come off without extra steps. That's why I give the product only 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect match for the Faber Castell 9000 Jumbo pencils
Perfect match for the Faber Castell 9000 Jumbo pencils. If you own them you must purchase this sharpener.The Faber Jumbos out of the box have a rather elongated "narrow-angle" tip (21') . It is the only sharpener I could find on the market (including the Faber Trio) that maintains the original pencil point shape/angle for the FC 9000 Jumbo pencils.Other sharpeners tend to change the original point into one with a fatter, wider angle.Also, blades are replaceable. If you travel, the way the sharpener case snaps closed within the outer shell keeps the sharpener from opening and spilling the debris into your briefcase or pocket (been there).

So disappointing!!
I have been using and absolutely love Faber Castell 9000 series jumbo pencils for years but never had a sharpener that I could leave in my bag and take with me. Always used an electric sharpener at home and hope for the the best when I'm out so when I finally saw that FC makes a hand held sharpener specifically for the 9000 series pencils, I jumped on it. I like the compact design and how it keeps the shaving from getting everywhere but it absolutely chews up my pencils. There are gouges and nicks all over the wood and lead and the point of the lead was crooked, if that makes sense, making the pencils pretty unusable until I can get home and fix (re-sharpen) them in the electric sharpener. These pencils aren't cheap so this is totally disappointing.
