So thankful I found this!
I don’t often write reviews but I came on here to maybe help someone that has had similar problems and is trying to help their cat. I rescued two kittens when they were just a few months old. One of them was the runt of the litter. She was too small to even get fixed until after I had her and she gained enough weight. Since the moment we had her, she had diarrhea. We changed her diet a million times. I took her to the vet a million times. I spend countless dollars trying to fix the diarrhea. I probably tried 15 brands of special dry foods and 15 different wet. I took out wet. She had antibiotics, she had millions of stool studies. We did probiotics. I did 3 rounds of B12 shots. That was actually one point when I noticed a difference. She had done 2 rounds of B12 and turned a corner for maybe 2 months until she was back to diarrhea again. Her stool was like a mucous cow pie and smelled terrible. She was going multiple times a day and she was losing weight. I had taken her to the vet a final time begging for some help. The next step was another billion dollar workup with possibly no results. I decided talked to multiple people and someone had recommended this to me. It took a month to work but I kept doing it daily and waited. I saw multiple reviews that said the same thing that it takes weeks to work. Just stay with it if you have a cat with a similar story. She now looks well. She is only going the bathroom once a day and it looks normal. It was over a year and a half of trying to get her better. I have 4 children and this was so time consuming trying to care for her and cleanup the litter box all of the time. She is now doing so well and I am so thankful that I found this product. I highly recommend this (again I never write reviews).

Skeptical of the other reviews at first …. But not anymore - HIGHLY recommend
So as a last resort I googled diabetes neuropathy in cats and stumbled on this product. My almost 17 yr old car was getting so weak and sometimes would even fall over and I started preparing myself that I was going to have to put him down because I couldn’t bare the thought of him in pain and wasn’t sure if he was suffering. Friends told me it was just his neuropathy and he is a little old man.I have to admit when I read all the good reviews I thought to myself they must be fake and they don’t post all the negative reviews etc. I thought how could this miracle pill help so many cats but I also felt we had nothing to lose so I verified with his vet that it would be okay to TRY this and hope for the best.My cats hind legs were so weak before I started him on this that I had to cut the litter box opening so he could walk in instead of have to climb over the doorway and then once inside he would sit on the litter and do his business. The hard part is he suffers from irritable bowel and often has bad diarrhea so it was getting all over him and he would almost always step in it coming out of the box. So I had to be right there to clean him and the box.Well after 5 days I felt like hmmmm he looks like he is getting stronger and his legs less wobbly. I thought nah… it’s just in my mind because I want it so bad. But he started using the steps on the sides of the bed now and would come up and down several times in a night. Prior to this he was too weak and sometimes couldn’t even walk the 3-4 ft to the water bowl without stopping to sit down. So it is now three weeks after I started him on it and my neighbor, myself and a few other friends cannot believe the change. I am in awe. He sometimes walks around the house looking for me and or following me. Is in and out of the bed, the recliner (both using steps that I have placed by them) and today he even jumped off the coffee table to the floor and I was worried his legs would give out on him but they didn’t. He still is by no means ‘cured’ but who knows. Today he even stood a little higher in the litter box and I didn’t have to clean as much as I had been. I’m excited to see what he is like in another week and another month etc. I will update my review once more time has gone by but I can honestly say his quality of life (and mine) has dramatically improved since I started him on Zobaline 3 weeks ago (July 23,2022). I would give this more than five stars if I could. I’m sure everyone will have different results but for me and my baby it has been a game changer and I could not be more pleased.

Effectiveness questionable for one kitty, seemed to work for another kitty
New Update (March 15 through December 31, 2024): If product is unavailable here at Amazon, it is available via Walmart online and Lifelink's website - talked directly to them today to find that out. My kitty has now been on Zobaline for 18 months and continues to do great (see Update #2 for what shape my kitty was in when starting the supplement). The first 6 months, he was on 1 tab, twice a day, where results seemed evident at the 5-month mark, and better each month. By month 6, he was normal, jumping, running, playing. At 7-8 months, I reduced the dose to just 1 tab per day (crushed and sprinkled in canned food), he continued to do just as well. Two more reductions since Mar '24: reduced the dose to 1/2 tab once a day to see if he maintains well (he did). Again, keep in mind, it is ideal when your kitty is truly insulin regulated before or during the use of Zobaline, this is one method of being able to determine to some degree, the effectiveness of Zobaline, particularly for neuropathy. It seems many vets are not confident a kitty with rear leg neuropathy could recover well, with or without Methylcobalamin (i.e., Zobaline), but if the kitty is well-regulated (near normal to normal blood glucose range with insulin management), the supplement may be quite beneficial. This coming from a skeptic, so I would advise to give it a try, it is safe to give twice a day initially and take it from there to see if neuropathy improves, and if so, slowly reduce to once a day. Be advised this can take a month, or it could take several months, it depends on the kitty and proper glucose/insulin management. Second reduction this year, and currently as of Dec '24: My kitty is now on 1/2 tab every other day and continues to do well, he is still running, jumping, playing and can still use his multi-tier kitty post. What I do not care for is the frequent changes in appearance of these tabs - originals were small white with brown flecks, then tan with brown flecks, now they are flat disc-shaped and reddish-pink in color and much harder to crush than previous batches - the price for shipping has now also increased. Consistency would be nice.Updated Review (2023): While Zobaline didn't work at all for my first kitty, it seems to be working for a second kitty, who was diagnosed with diabetes after being hospitalized for diabetic ketoacidosis. It took 5-6 months of twice-a-day Zobaline tabs, but after a few months, kitty started showing improvement in mobility and gait. At the 5-month mark, his gate was near perfect and at 6 months, he was completely mobile, running, jumping, and feeling great. Note that his glucose was already regulated before the 6-month mark being on Zobaline - so cat owners should be aware that it's very important to make sure your kitty's glucose is regulated, please work with your vets closely in case insulin doses need to be adjusted during glucose regulation and even beyond. Currently, kitty is getting 1 tab in the morning and 1/2 tab in the eve with food, hopefully will be weaning him to 1 tab daily in the near future. I do contend that for the small amount of B12 in these tiny tablets, the cost is outrageous (plus having to pay shipping as well) - but I will concede that it may work for many kitties, if given long-term if necessary, if glucose is regulated and managed well (and for some cats, 2 tabs twice a day until noticeable improvement).Prior review (in 2021): I can't speak for effectiveness as every cat is different, but Zobaline did nothing for my kitty, two months of these tiny supplements later, there was zero improvement. You're more likely to get effectiveness from injectable form of vit B12 from your vet, since oral supplements degrade (and dissolve and disappear in the stomach, not truly getting a chance to get into the bloodstream - the veterinary injectable form is given sub-cutaneously, so is absorbed far better than oral pills) - so talk to your vets about the best options for your kitty before purchasing anything. Gave 4 stars for availability of a convenient product easy to add into food, but doubtful of effectiveness - at least for my kitty.
