I'm a beliver
I'm really surprised how much I like this hat. It feels very well made.I was hesitant when I saw the price but I really wanted a hat that I couldn't sweat through as the last couple of hats I've worked out in had sweat stains that I need to wash out. This hat has so far been through multiple workouts, hikes, and daily walks, and isn't showing any wear or sweat stains. My favorite part though is the breathable holes in the back and the rubber stamp under the brim that prevents thumb smudges on the brim (crazy how though out this hat is).Overall I really like this hat. It's comfortable and looks nice.

The only hats I wear now - Big heads
My whole life everyone has always told me I have had a big head. I like hats, but finding a good one is hard. I preferred the look of fitted, but even the larger sizes would leave a little red mark across my forehead. The trend has moved away from them, anyway, and back to snapbacks. I've always had to use snap backs with the last two buttons as the only security because they are made for average size heads. Even XL versions have a similar issue and it just looks goofy. The Melin A Game XL I have at all but 1 button on the snap back and the hat itself has a little bit of stretch that it allows room for a good fit without a tight squeeze. So, no red marks, no goofy looking huge gaps around the enclosure, it's just good. The price seems high, but I think it's worth it. I have them in the all white, all black, and gray with black brim. I sweat a lot and go through white fairly easily before it doesn't wash well anymore. I also get my hands fairly dirty and readjust the hats as I sweat. I am honestly shocked that this is as clean as the day I bought it and I haven't washed it once. I haven't even dunked it in water to test the cooling of it. All 3 of my hats, which I wear 1 of the 3 daily, are in the same condition. It feels lightweight despite being a XL, it doesn't move at all either with all the windows down and the sunroof open.I have to work hard to nitpick anything about these hats. If I had to try, the logo placement on the underside of the brim is a built in "finger guard" or whatever you want to call it. When you grab your hat it's supposed to be a good placement for where your thumb goes to prevent getting it dirty. I have never once put my thumb where they located it to adjust my hat, I grab much further forward. But still, even where I do grab, no marks.

Honestly, worth the splurge.
This is one of my favorite snapbacks ever. I unfortunately, quite literally, have a big head and that makes it difficult to find caps that fit well. The Melin A-Game comes in XL thankfully and I love the way it looks, feels, and its resistance to both sweat and stains. It's super breathable and comfy to wear for a round of golf or a day at the beach. I've tried dupes before before, but the quality is honestly different. The only thing I'd change on this is the price... $69 is a lot to pay for a cap. But I have a feeling this one is going to hold up for a long long while.

Double the price for 1.5x the quality?
First off to help any potential buyers:1. The hat that was sent to me was size "M/L" not the XL as other reviewers had stated. (I had wanted an XL)2. I thought Melin hats came in boxes, mine was crushed into a media mail envelope. On first inspection I was really disappointed. The bill was tiny - it was the size of those low-end Chinese trucker hats. It was signifcantly smaller than both a New Era and a couple trucker hats I had sitting around. That said...it fit my large-weird shaped head!!! I was pretty surprised and stoked on the fit because usually smaller hats sit on top of my head rather than around it. The material feels tech-y and nice but realistically its not like it breathes any better than a normal hat.I've been wearing it for 3 days now. I personally like it and how it fits, but I will admit it is boring. It says nothing at all about me. If you're an undercover agent and want to look forgetable this is perfect!!! I didn't get any "nice hat" comments but I did get several "I can't believe you spent $60 on that thing" comments from my friends. That said most of us buy tons of hats so I don't see the problem spending more to get one that fits well.Other features: If your hat falls off a boat more than once a year - yes get this hat. If it only falls off once a year it's cheaper to just buy 2 normal hats haha. The stash pocket is a novelty but I'm not selling grams of coke to kids so I'm not sure what situation I would be in when I have zero normal pockets but still need to transport something tiny and trust it in my hat.

Perfect cap
One of the best caps I've ever had. Give me exactly the look I'm after while being very breathable, light, comfortable and perfect for workouts or long days outside. Highly recommend despite the high price!

Would not recommend
I bought my husband a Melin hat for the winter and it was his FAVORITE. So I bought him a white summer one and gave it to him for his birthday on May 5. It’s May 28th and we noticed that parts of it are turning blue. The plastic from the back strap and the stitching along the front. It’s like the black fabric that lines the inside is bleeding or something. For the price we had much higher expectations! Sadly it is past the return window. The hat has not been worn in water which could potentially cause bleeding

I was super skeptical
Yes, it's expensive, yes I was doubtful. It started with one...now I own 3...do they stain eventually, eventually if you sweat in them, yes...can you wash them and they look good afterwords, yes...are they awesome of you have a big head, yes...are they less hot to wear than most hats...yes.... albeit, you are wearing a hat..but its better than most temperature wise..are they built like a tank....yes..you can tell the quality is high compared to most....will it change your life? no..maybe, if you're life is about hats....is it worth the money? yes...give one a try...all shall be revealed.
